What is PURE Religion or Worship?
Kennard, a servant of God the Father and the Son of God . . .
Yeshua’s brother James, under the inspiration of Elohim, stated the following:
“External religious worship [religion as it is expressed in outward acts] that is pure and unblemished in the sight of God the Father is this: to visit and help and care for the orphans and widows in their affliction and need, and to keep oneself unspotted and uncontaminated from the world.” (James 1:27 AMP)
The word “religion” in the Greek means ceremonial observance and worship.
Pure worship is:
- Taking care of the unfortunate and needy. This includes widows, the fatherless and other people who are suffering.
- Preventing the deception and wickedness of this evil world (Galatians 1:4; Revelation 12:9) from contaminating your mind & body. The lust of the eyes & flesh and the pride of life is not of the Father (1 John 2:16).
Are you practicing pure worship or religion?
May Elohim bless you and protect you.
