Does Yeshua fasting for 40 days and 40 nights prove we are not commanded to assemble on the Shabbat?

I have kept the Shabbat for almost 30 years.  Additionally, I have studied with Jews for 2 years discussing with them how they interpret Biblical doctrine and Jewish history.  This is how important Jews feel the Shabbat is:

“The Sabbath (or Shabbat, as it is called in Hebrew) is one of the best known and least understood of all Jewish observances. People who do not observe Shabbat think of it as a day filled with stifling restrictions, or as a day of prayer like the Christian Sabbath. But to those who observe Shabbat, it is a precious gift from G-d, a day of great joy eagerly awaited throughout the week, a time when we can set aside all of our weekday concerns and devote ourselves to higher pursuits. In Jewish literature, poetry and music, Shabbat is described as a bride or queen, as in the popular Shabbat hymn Lecha Dodi Likrat Kallah (come, my beloved, to meet the [Sabbath] bride). It is said “more than Israel has kept Shabbat, Shabbat has kept Israel.”

“Shabbat is the most important ritual observance in Judaism. It is the only ritual observance instituted in the Ten Commandments. It is also the most important special day, even more important than Yom Kippur.  This is clear from the fact that more aliyot (opportunities for congregants to be called up to the Torah) are given on Shabbat than on any other day.”  (Judiasm 101- Shabbat)

  • Truly, Shabbat has kept Israel together during the Diaspora.  This is one of the major proofs the Shabbat IS a commanded holy meeting or convocation (Leviticus 23:3).  Please understand the other holy days are patterned after the Saturday Shabbat.


Jews understand the importance of assembling on Shabbat

Currently, there are six major divisions or sects of Judaism (in the 1st century, there were various sects of Judaism as well):

  • Orthodox
  • Conservative
  • Reform
  • Reconstructionist
  • Jewish Renewal
  • Humanistic


Orthodox and Conservative Judaism both believe that the Oral Law (the traditional way to interpret the Tanakh) is divine.  However, Conservative Judaism interprets the Written and Oral Law considering the modern times we are living in today.  The other divisions do not believe the Oral Law is divine.

Interestingly, in reference to the Shabbat:

“Orthodox rabbis forbid driving an automobile on the Sabbath, based on the fact that it involves turning on the ignition, which in turn ignites sparks-an act that violates the Torah law against making a fire on the Sabbath (Exodus 35:3).  Conservative rabbis generally permit Jews to drive on the Sabbath, but only to synagogue.

“This ruling was made in response to the migration of Jews to the suburbs, where most no longer live within walking distance of a synagogue.  Continuing to forbid driving on the Sabbath would have forced many congregants to remain at home or to pursue nonreligious activities.  Fearing an erosion of Jewish identity if synagogue attendance dropped precipitously, these rabbis permitted driving as the lesser of two evils.

“Orthodox rabbis denounced this decision, arguing that Conservative rabbis should instead encourage their congregants to live within walking distance of their synagogues (The 613 Mitzvot by Ronald L. Eisenberg, pgs. 318-319).”

Many Jews and believers are scattered; because of money issues or social economics, cannot live close to each other.  In these cases, it is acceptable to drive on the Shabbat to do good.  Certainly, fellowshipping with like-minded believers is doing good (Matthew 12:2-8; 11-12; Hebrews 10:25).

I know from personal experience how Jews celebrate Shabbat.  I was invited to a Friday sunset Shabbat celebration.  My wife and I were pleasantly surprised how Jews celebrated the Shabbat and enjoyed fellowshipping with other Jews.  Jews, who are serious about their faith, look forward to the Shabbat and fellowshipping with other Jews.

Yeshua regularly fellowshipped with His fellow Jews on Shabbat (Luke 4:16).  However, did He break Leviticus 23:3 because He fasted for 40 days and 40 nights? Does it make the commandment to have a “holy convocation” null and void?

“Then יהושע was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tried by the devil.  And after having fasted forty days and forty nights, He was hungry.”  (Matthew 4:1-2 The Scriptures)

Mosheh also fasted for forty days and forty nights.  He did it two times.  The 1st time was after Yah spoke the 10 commandants to assembled Israel.  The second time was after the sin of creating an idol was committed by most of the congregation of Israel.

“And Mosheh went into the midst of the cloud and went up into the mountain. And it came to be that Mosheh was on the mountain forty days and forty nights.” (Exodus 24:18 The Scriptures)

“And he was there with יהוה forty days and forty nights. He did not eat bread and he did not drink water. And He wrote on the tablets the Words of the covenant, the Ten Words.” (Exodus 34:28 The Scriptures)

Notice they both fasted.  By fasting in a different location, they did not assemble with like-minded believers on Shabbat.  Therefore, it appears if you need to fast for 40 days and 40 nights, then it is permissible to do so and miss assembling with like-minded believers for five Shabbats (7/40 days = 5 Shabbats without fellowship with like-minded believers).  This is similar to Yah allowing David to eat the showbread without sinning because he was hungry or allowing the priests to work on doing temple duties on the Shabbat (Matthew 12:3-5).  If you are having mercy on someone and sacrificing for someone on the Shabbat, then it is understandable if you can’t fellowship with like-minded believers on the Shabbat (Matthew 12:6).  Certainly, fasting is an act of mercy, compassion and sacrifice.  Additionally, Yeshua is a priest and He said His body was a temple (John 2:19-21).  Ultimately, He revealed He was greater than the temple (Matthew 12:7).

  • Those who want to use Yeshua fasting for forty days and forty nights as an excuse for forsaking assembly on the Sabbath:  When you assemble just with your family or by yourself-are you in the process of fasting for 40 days and 40 nights? Fasting is going without food and water (Esther 4:16).  Plus, Yeshua fasted by Himself.  He did not fast with His family nor was He with His relatives when He fasted.  Remember, we are suppose to follow His example (1 John 2:6).


“And see, there was a man having a withered hand. And they asked Him, saying, “Is it right to heal on the Sabbath?” – so as to accuse Him.  And He said to them, “What man is there among you who has one sheep, and if it falls into a pit on the Sabbath, shall not take hold of it and lift it out?  “How much more worth is a man than a sheep! So it is right to do good on the Sabbath.”  (Matthew 12:10-11 The Scriptures)

Is fasting considered doing good on the Shabbat?

Interestingly, Isaiah 58 describes how someone should fast:

“Is this not the fast that I have chosen: to loosen the tight cords of wrongness, to undo the bands of the yoke, to exempt the oppressed, and to break off every yoke?  “Is it not to share your bread with the hungry, and that you bring to your house the poor who are cast out; when you see the naked, and cover him, and not hide yourself from your own flesh?  “Then your light would break forth like the morning, your healing spring forth speedily. And your righteousness shall go before you, the esteem of יהוה would be your rear guard.  “Then, when you call, יהוה would answer; when you cry, He would say, ‘Here I am.’ “If you take away the yoke from your midst, the pointing of the finger, and the speaking of unrighteousness, if you extend your being to the hungry and satisfy the afflicted being, then your light shall dawn in the darkness, and your darkness be as noon. “Then יהוה would guide you continually, and satisfy your being in drought, and strengthen your bones. And you shall be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail. “And those from among you shall build the old waste places. You shall raise up the foundations of many generations. And you would be called the Repairer of the Breach, the Restorer of Streets to Dwell In. “If you do turn back your foot from the Sabbath, from doing your pleasure on My set-apart day, and shall call the Sabbath ‘a delight,’ the set-apart day of יהוה ‘esteemed,’ and shall esteem it, not doing your own ways, nor finding your own pleasure, nor speaking your own words, then you shall delight yourself in יהוה. And I shall cause you to ride on the heights of the earth, and feed you with the inheritance of Yaʽaqoḇ your father. For the mouth of יהוה has spoken!” (Isaiah 58:6-14 The Scriptures)

Notice how to keep the Shabbat is mentioned in the context of fasting.  This helps explain why Yeshua fasted on the Shabbat days and did not fellowship with like-minded believers during His 40 days and 40 nights fast.  He did not sin, but He still learned by suffering.  Fasting certainly does not feel good when you do it and it hurts.

“Who, in the days of His flesh, when He had offered up prayers and petitions with strong crying and tears to Him who was able to save Him from death, and was heard because of His reverent fear, though being a Son, He learned obedience by what He suffered. And having been perfected, He became the Causer of everlasting deliverance to all those obeying Him.” (Hebrews 5:7-9 The Scriptures)

It is right to do good on the Shabbat.  Fasting is doing good on the Shabbat because one of the reasons why you fast is to do good toward others-it is not for selfish reasons:

If you desire to be by yourself with your family on Shabbat and you are not fasting or having other reasonable issues (like sickness) preventing you from fellowshipping with other believers, then that is being selfish; you are not obeying the Shabbat command.

Again, the purpose of fasting:

“Is it not to share your bread with the hungry, and that you bring to your house the poor who are cast out; when you see the naked, and cover him, and not hide yourself from your own flesh?  “Then your light would break forth like the morning, your healing spring forth speedily.  And your righteousness shall go before you, the esteem of יהוה would be your rear guard.  (Isaiah 58:7-8 The Scriptures)

The scriptures reveal Yeshua kept all of His Father’s commandments (John 15:10); He obeyed the Shabbat and kept all of the holy days of Yah.  We are commanded to follow His example.  In addition, He is LORD OF THE SHABBAT (Mark 2:28 CJB).  This means He knows better than us how to keep the Shabbat.

“The one who says he stays in Him ought himself also to walk, even as He walked.”  (1 John 2:6 The Scriptures)

“And His parents went to Yerushalayim every year at the Festival of the Passover.  And when He was twelve years old, they went up to Yerushalayim according to the practice of the festival.”  (Luke 2:41-42 The Scriptures)

“And He came to Natsareth, where He had been brought up. And according to His practice, He went into the congregation on the Sabbath day, and stood up to read.  And the scroll of the prophet Yeshayahu was handed to Him. And having unrolled the scroll, He found the place where it was written:  “The Spirit of יהוה is upon Me,1 because He has anointed Me to bring the Good News to the poor. He has sent Me to heal the broken-hearted, to proclaim release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to send away crushed ones with a release, to proclaim the acceptable year of יהוה.”  And having rolled up the scroll, He gave it back to the attendant and sat down.  And the eyes of all in the congregation were fixed upon Him.” (Luke 4:16-20 The Scriptures)

“And came down to Capernaum, a city of Galilee, and taught them on the sabbath days.”  (Luke 4:31 KJV)

52 weeks in a year = 52 Shabbats.  Now if you take one Shabbat off per month to just be with your family, then you will miss 12 Shabbats a year fellowshipping with like-minded believers.

Yeshua missed only 5 Shabbats fellowshipping with like-minded believers His entire life according to the scriptures.

Yeshua’s earthly life is estimated to be between 28 and 31 years (Luke 3:23).  31 years x 52 weeks = 1,612 Shabbats.  Remember, Yeshua only missed 5 Shabbats fellowshipping with like-minded believers because of His special forty day and forty night fast.

  • Yeshua fellowshipped with like-minded believers 99.68% (1,607 Shabbats/1612 Shabbats) of the time His entire life (If you use 28 years, then it is 99.65%).  This is the reason why the inspired scriptures state it was His custom/practice to be with like-minded believers on Shabbat.  Therefore, if we follow His example, then we should do the best we can to be with like-minded believers on the Shabbat 99.68% of the time.
  • Taking one Shabbat to be just with your family will only result in a 76.9% (40 Shabbats/52 Shabbats = .769 x 100 = 76.9%) percentage of keeping the Shabbat with like-minded believers.  This is certainly not following the Messiah’s example of keeping the Shabbat.
  • Additionally, if you really want to follow His example, then you should only miss 5 Shabbats your entire life fellowshipping with like-minded believers to fast all day on the Shabbat for spiritual reasons.



“And came down to Capernaum, a city of Galilee, and taught them on the sabbath days.”  (Luke 4:31 KJV)

“The Sabbath is the first of the Appointed Times listed in Leviticus 23 and is considered, along with the Festivals outlined throughout this section of the Torah, as one of God’s Appointed Times.  The Hebrew word (mo’ edim) is from the root (mo’ ed) which has as its first meaning “meeting-place.”  The Tabernacle is referred in the Torah as the “Tent of Meeting” utilizing the same word.  From the very use of this word it is clear that the Shabbath is a time fixed by God for meeting with His people.” (Introduction to Torah Living, p. 119 by Tim Hegg)

The KJV uses the word “feasts” for appointed time in Leviticus 23:2-4.

“And all the work of the Dwelling Place of the Tent of Meeting was completed. And the children of Yisra’ĕl did according to all that יהוה had commanded Mosheh, so they did.” (Exodus 39:32 The Scriptures)

The word “meeting” in the above scripture is translated “congregation” in the KJV and the word means appointed times; it is the same word that is used for “feasts” in the KJV in Leviticus 23:2-4.  So, mo’ edim can mean the following:

  • Appointed time
  • Meeting
  • Congregation
  • Feast


Remember, according to Leviticus 23:2, a holy convocation is also a feast.  The Sabbath is a holy convocation and a feast (Leviticus 23:3).

mô‛ēḏ: A masculine noun meaning an appointed time or place. It can signify an appointed meeting time in general (Gen_18:14; Exo_13:10); a specific appointed time, usually for a sacred feast or festival (Hos_9:5; Hos_12:9 [10]); the time of the birds’ migration (Jer_8:7); the time of wine (Hos_2:9 [11]); the same time next year (Gen_17:21). In addition to the concept of time, this word can also signify an appointed meeting place: “The mount of the congregation” identifies the meeting place of God or the gods (Isa_14:13), and “the house appointed for all living” identifies the meeting place of the dead-that is, the netherworld (Job_30:23). Moreover, the term is used to distinguish those places where God’s people were to focus on God and their relationship with Him, which would include: the tent of meeting (Exo_33:7); the Temple (Lam_2:6); the synagogue (Psa_74:8).  (The Complete WordStudy Dictionary)

25    Not neglecting our congregational meetings (Greek episunagôgên; one could render the phrase, “not neglecting to synagogue ourselves together”).

“Hillel said, ‘Do not separate yourself from the community.’ ” (Avot 2:4)

Many believers not only neglect to meet regularly with a congregation of believers but suppose it unnecessary. This is a very serious mistake, indeed a heresy which endangers their salvation (Yn 13:34–35; 1 Yn 3:10–11, 14, 18; 4:7–8), because biblical religion is socially oriented.

The Tanakh speaks of the kahal (assembly) and the ˓edah (congregation), the New Testament of the ekklêsia (called-out community, “church”) and the Body of the Messiah, and both of the people of God. These are not mystical ideas. True, there is a worldwide spiritual unity of all believers throughout all time which transcends their physically gathering together. But the emphasis in the Tanakh is on the common historical destiny of God’s people and their need to treat each other with justice and mercy.

The New Testament is no less concerned with the group; it commands believers to love each other in real, practical ways and to build up the Body of the Messiah. This necessitates personal involvement, relationship, communication and working together for the Kingdom of God; and these are impossible challenges unless God’s people meet together often.

In the last few decades, extreme forms of individualism spawned in the secular world have infected the Messianic Community and produced efforts to discredit the importance of believers’ meeting together. Unabashed selfishness, championed by writers such as Ayn Rand and Robert Ringgren (Looking Out For #1), has become an acceptable part of popular culture. As the emptiness of outward conformity was exposed by sociologists like David Riesman (The Lonely Crowd), its opposite number, self-preoccupation, took its place; drug abuse and the turn toward Eastern religions are symptoms. First welcomed as a step toward consciousness-raising (Charles Reich, The Greening of America), such absorption with self was quickly recognized as escapist and destructive of the social fabric (Christopher Lasch, The Culture of Narcissism).

In addition to these influences from the secular world, believers often bring with them from their childhood a distaste for organized religion, which leads them to throw out the baby (fellowship, working together) with the bathwater (dead institutional forms, perfunctory attendance at meetings without genuine communion). Television preaching and home study materials further facilitate passive “blessing” without active involvement. Thus many professed believers suppose that their personal tie to God is the only element of their religious life that matters. But without purposeful contact with other believers, fruitful work for the Kingdom soon ceases, prayer becomes dry, the world shrinks, not only social conscience but even social awareness succumbs, and the person quickly withdraws into a world of his own in which costless discipleship and cheap grace prevail.

A different but related perversion of true congregational meeting consists in flitting from one kehillah (Hebrew, “congregation”) to another without becoming committed to any. People who do this delude themselves if they suppose they are not neglecting congregational meetings, for such “butterflies” can neither become close to any one group nor work with other people toward a common goal. “Living stones being built into a spiritual house” (1 Ke 2:5) do not flit about from window to wall to ceiling. Paul did not spend long in any one place, but he was a faithful member of one local congregation (Antioch), who sent him on his journeys with the laying on of hands and evaluated what he accomplished; he did not proceed on his own initiative, and he did not interpret the Holy Spirit’s command by himself (Ac 13:1–4, 14:25–15:2, 15:35–40). The time has come for God’s people to understand that spirituality means what Dietrich Bonhoeffer called, in the title of his book, Life Together.  All of this should be easy for Jewish believers to understand, since Judaism fosters a strong communal feeling that fits well with the exhortation of this verse.”

  • The 1st century believers looked for reasons to assemble whenever they could.  They did not look for reasons not to assemble (Acts 2:46) with each other.  Yah desires to gather everyone together (Matthew 23:37; Ezekiel 34:1-13; Jeremiah 23:1-4).  One of the purposes of the Shabbat and the Holy Days and even observance of the New Moon is to gather Yah’s people-His family together.  The Sabbath and the Holy Days are a delight and celebration of the goodness of Yah toward humanity.  In contrast, ha satan (the adversary/the devil), is looking to cause division and to destroy (1 Peter 5:8).  Ha satan hates unity.


Some 1st century believers assembled in homes

Assembling in homes does not void the structure and organization of an assembly.  Just like a family has structure and organization in a home, so should Yah’s family of believers.

And give my greetings to the congregation that meets in their house. Give my greetings to my dear friend Epaenetus, who was the first person in the province of Asia to put his trust in the Messiah.”  (Romans 16:5 CJB)

“The congregations in the province of Asia send greetings to you. Aquila and Priscilla greet you in union with the Lord, as does the congregation that meets in their house.”  (1 Corinthians 16:19 CJB)

“Give my greetings to the brothers in Laodicea, also to Nympha and the congregation that meets in her home.”  (Colossians 4:15 CJB)

“Along with sister Apphia, our fellow-soldier Archippus and the congregation that gathers in your home.”  (Philemon 1:2 CJB)

“He must manage his own household well, having children who obey him with all proper respect; for if a man can’t manage his own household, how will he be able to care for God’s Messianic Community?”  (1 Timothy 3:4-5 CJB)

Please notice the following scripture about the Shabbat:

“And you shall remember that you were a slave in the land of Mitsrayim, and that יהוה your Elohim brought you out from there by a strong hand and by an outstretched arm. Therefore יהוה your Elohim commanded you to observe the Sabbath day.” (Deuteronomy 5:15 The Scriptures)

“Then I heard another voice out of heaven say: “My people, come out of her! so that you will not share in her sins, so that you will not be infected by her plagues.” (Revelation 18:4 CJB)

In the above scripture, Yah says “my people” not “each family” come out of Babylon.

  • Elohim gathered the Israelites out of Egypt to observe the Shabbat day as one congregation-as a group.  Yah is not calling us out of Egypt/Babylon to separate families that believe in the TRUE Yah from other Yah believing families.  He desires to unite all Yah fearing families together into ONE Elohim family.


“See how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity.” (Psalm 133:1 The Scriptures)

“And when all are made subject to Him, then the Son Himself shall also be subject to Him who put all under Him, in order that Elohim be all in all. (1 Corinthians 15:28 The Scriptures)

Sure, there are times when we can’t assemble as revealed in the Bible and Yeshua’s example:

  • Sick (being exhausted is also being sick)
  • No one to fellowship with in your local area
  • Fasting for 40 days and 40 nights to do good; fasting for unselfish reasons.  Following the Messiah’s example of only missing 5 Shabbats fellowshipping, we should do the best we can to fast on days other than the Shabbat.  However, there are times when the Shabbat is the only day you can fast
  • Doing charitable work to help the sick and afflicted.  Again, following the Messiah’s example of only missing 5 Shabbats fellowshipping, we should do the best we can to do charitable work to help the sick and afflicted all day on other days.  We can spend time during the Shabbat helping the sick and afflicted; the remainder of the Shabbat should be spent resting and fellowshipping. However, there are times when the Shabbat is the only day you can serve the sick and afflicted all day.
  • Other medical reasons and emergencies


If we don’t have the above reasons to stop us from fellowshipping, then the example of the Word of God shows us we should not forsake the assembly of the people of Yah on the Shabbat (Luke 4:16; Leviticus 23:3; Hebrews 10:25-26).  We should look forward to fellowshipping with each other-not look for reasons to avoid fellowship on the Sabbath.

Believers should fellowship and rest every Shabbat.  However, we shouldn’t fellowship so much that we neglect rest.  And, we shouldn’t rest so much that we neglect fellowship unless we are exhausted from a very hard work week which, in this case, you are sick because being exhausted is a form of sickness.  Additionally, other reasonable circumstances can justify avoidance of Shabbat assembly.  To simplify, there should be a proper balance when observing the Shabbat and Holy Days of Yah.

  • One of the reasons why Orthodox Jews have stayed together is because of fellowshipping.  Consistently fellowshipping with believers helps us to grow spiritually and to learn how to eliminate conflicts.


Believers are God’s family and TRUE families stick together and do things together

“What was from the beginning, what we have heard, what we have seen with our eyes, what we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, concerning the Word of life: And the life was manifested, and we have seen, and bear witness, and announce to you that everlasting life which was with the Father and was manifested to us. We announce to you what we have seen and heard, so that you too might have fellowship with us. And truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son יהושע Messiah. And we write this to you in order that your joy might be complete. And this is the message which we have heard from Him and announce to you, that Elohim is light and in Him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and are not doing the truth. But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of יהושע Messiah His Son cleanses us from all sin.” (1 John 1:1-7 The Scriptures)

“And I do not pray for these alone, but also for those believing in Me through their word, so that they all might be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You, so that they too might be one in Us, so that the world might believe that You have sent Me.  “And the esteem which You gave Me I have given them, so that they might be one as We are one, “I in them, and You in Me, so that they might be perfected into one, so that the world knows that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.” (John 17:20-23 The Scriptures)

“I am the real vine, and my Father is the gardener. Every branch which is part of me but fails to bear fruit, he cuts off; and every branch that does bear fruit, he prunes, so that it may bear more fruit. Right now, because of the word which I have spoken to you, you are pruned. Stay united with me, as I will with you — for just as the branch can’t put forth fruit by itself apart from the vine, so you can’t bear fruit apart from me. “I am the vine and you are the branches. Those who stay united with me, and I with them, are the ones who bear much fruit; because apart from me you can’t do a thing. Unless a person remains united with me, he is thrown away like a branch and dries up. Such branches are gathered and thrown into the fire, where they are burned up.

“If you remain united with me, and my words with you, then ask whatever you want, and it will happen for you. This is how my Father is glorified — in your bearing much fruit; this is how you will prove to be my talmidim. “Just as my Father has loved me, I too have loved you; so stay in my love. If you keep my commands, you will stay in my love — just as I have kept my Father’s commands and stay in his love. I have said this to you so that my joy may be in you, and your joy be complete. “This is my command: that you keep on loving each other just as I have loved you. No one has greater love than a person who lays down his life for his friends.”  (John 15:1-15 CJB)

We put the commandments to action by fellowshipping with one another.  Yeshua commanded us to love one another.  How can we love (walking in the commandments – 2 John 1:6) toward one another if we don’t fellowship with like-minded believers on Shabbat, the Holy Days or other days?  Notice what Yeshua stated about loving just loving your family:

“For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?” (Matthew 5:46-47 KJV)

“And His mother and brothers came to Him, and were unable to get to Him because of the crowd. And it was reported to Him, saying, “Your mother and Your brothers are standing outside, wishing to see You.” And He answering, said to them, “My mother and My brothers are those who are hearing the Word of Elohim and doing it.” (Luke 8:19-21 The Scriptures).

“And a crowd was sitting around Him. And they said to Him, “See, Your mother and Your brothers are outside seeking You.” But He answered them, saying, “Who is My mother, or My brothers?” And looking about on those sitting round Him, He said, “See My mother and My brothers! “For whoever does the desire of Elohim is My brother and My sister and mother.”  (Mark 3:32-35 The Scriptures)

“Whoever loves his father or mother more than he loves me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves his son or daughter more than he loves me is not worthy of me.”  (Matthew 10:37 CJB)

TRUE believers make up the BODY of Messiah

“So that there will be no disagreements within the body, but rather all the parts will be equally concerned for all the others. Thus if one part suffers, all the parts suffer with it; and if one part is honored, all the parts share its happiness. Now you together constitute the body of the Messiah, and individually you are parts of it.” (1 Corinthians 12:25-27 CJB)

Remember, you can’t fellowship with the Father by avoiding the Messiah or His body which are the believers in your local area.

“We announce to you what we have seen and heard, so that you too might have fellowship with us. And truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son יהושע Messiah. And we write this to you in order that your joy might be complete. And this is the message which we have heard from Him and announce to you, that Elohim is light and in Him is no darkness at all.

If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and are not doing the truth. But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of יהושע Messiah His Son cleanses us from all sin.”  (1 John 1:3-7 The Scriptures)

  • Notice the above scripture reveals Yah desires we fellowship with other believers.  When we fellowship together as one, then we are fellowshipping with the Father and Son.
  • Fellowshipping with one another involves the blood of the Messiah cleansing us from all sin.


“יהושע said to him, “I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” (John 14:6 The Scriptures)

“יהושע therefore said to them again, “Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep.  “All who came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. “I am the door. Whoever enters through Me, he shall be saved, and shall go in and shall go out and find pasture.” (John 10:7-9 The Scriptures)

  • A significant number of believers work during the week and they can’t fellowship with believers during the week because of their jobs.  The Shabbat is a perfect day to fellowship with other believers because we are commanded to cease from work for profit activity.  If you don’t have to work, then you should have the time to fellowship with like-minded believers.

How To Have Success

Kennard, a servant of the Merciful Eternal Father and His Spectacular & Compassionate Son.

  • Is money the key to success according to the pure words of Elohim?
  • Should you have many cars, homes, clothes, electronic appliances . . . etc. to guarantee success?


“Only be strong and very courageous, to observe to do according to all the law, which Moses My servant commanded thee; turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest have good success whithersoever thou goest.  This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth, but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein; for then thou shalt make thy ways prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”  (Joshua 1:7-8 Jewish Publication Society – JPS)

According to the Word of Elohim, to be successful we must do the following:

  • Be strong
  • Be courageous
  • Obey the  entire Torah of Moses which is the Torah of Elohim (1 Kings 2:3 KJV)
  • Think about the Torah of Elohim day and night so we can obey ALL of the words of Elohim


If we consistently do the above deeds, then we are guaranteed success.

What does success mean?


sâkal (saw-kal’)

A primitive root; to be circumspect and hence intelligent: – consider, expert, instruct, prosper, (deal) prudent (-ly), (give) skill (-ful), have good success, teach, (have, make to) understand (-ing), wisdom, (be, behave self, consider, make) wise (-ly), guide wittingly.  (Strong’s Concordance of the Bible)

sākhal:  A verb meaning to act with insight, to be prudent, to give insight, to teach, to prosper, to consider, to ponder, to understand, to act prudently, to act with devotion. The primary meaning of the word is to be prudent. The word is used in Isaiah to denote what was hoped and expected of Israel, i.e., that they would consider and understand that the hand of the Lord had acted (Isa_41:20). The word is also used in Deuteronomy to denote a lack of understanding on the part of the people. If they were wise and would understand, they would know what their end would be (Deu_32:29). Jeremiah used this word to denote wisdom in terms of insight and comprehension (Jer_9:24 [23]). In a similar usage of the word, fools are to take heed and become wise (Psa_94:8). The wisdom of comprehension will open their eyes to the Lord, who sees and punishes wrong actions. In a confession of sins, the Holy Spirit is remembered as having been sent to instruct (Neh_9:20); the prudent person keeps quiet in evil times (Amo_5:13); those who meditate on the Book of the Law day and night, being careful to do everything in it, will be prosperous and successful (Jos_1:8). In the causative form, śāḵal denoted God’s actions to Solomon if he observed what the Lord required and walked in His ways. Prudence according to Merriam-Webster Dictionary is:

  • The ability to govern and discipline oneself by the use of reason
  • Shrewdness in the management of affairs
  • Skill and good judgment in the use of resources
  • Caution or circumspection as to danger or risk


To simplify, success is the ability to manage your affairs in a righteous, cautious, reasonable, and sane way.  Success does not mean just having an abundance of money and possessions.

“Then to the people he said, “Be careful to guard against all forms of greed, because even if someone is rich, his life does not consist in what he owns.”  (Luke 12:15 CJB)

“. . . and constant wrangling among people whose minds no longer function properly and who have been deprived of the truth, so that they imagine that religion is a road to riches.  Now true religion does bring great riches, but only to those who are content with what they have.  For we have brought nothing into the world; and we can take nothing out of it; so if we have food and clothing, we will be satisfied with these. 

Furthermore, those whose goal is to be rich fall into temptation; they get trapped in many foolish and hurtful ambitions which plunge them into ruin and destruction.  For the love of money is a root of all the evils; because of this craving, some people have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves to the heart with many pains.  But you, as a man of God, flee from these things; and pursue righteousness, godliness, faithfulness, love, steadfastness, gentleness.  Fight the good fight of the faith, take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you testified so well to your faith before many witnesses.”  (1 Timothy 6:5-12 CJB)

“Two matters I have asked of You – Deny them not to me before I die:  Remove falsehood and a lying word far from me; Give me neither poverty nor riches; Feed me my portion of bread; Lest I become satisfied and deny You, And say, “Who is יהוה?” And lest I be poor, and steal, And seize the Name of my Elohim.  (Proverbs 30:7-9 The Scriptures)

Observing the commandments will give any human being the ability to have common sense.

“The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.”  (Psalm 111:10 KJV)

The word “understanding” in the above verse means to have sense, intelligence and success.


seh’-kel, say’-kel

From H7919; intelligence; by implication success: – discretion, knowledge, policy, prudence, sense, understanding, wisdom, wise.  (Strong’s Concordance of the Bible)

śēḵel: A masculine noun meaning intelligence, good sense. This intelligence is more than just mere book knowledge or learning about a particular subject. It has a greater significance and means insight or understanding.  This insight is a gift from God (1Ch_22:12); and God holds the freedom to give it or to take it away whenever He chooses (Job_17:4).  The results from having this intelligence and insight is that it gives a person patience (Pro_19:11); and wins praise from others (Pro_12:8). Only fools despise this intelligence (Pro_23:9). This noun is used once with a negative connotation in Dan_8:25 where it stands for cunning, requiring much intelligence.  (The Complete WordStudy Dictionary)

Elohim desires for us to properly think about every decision we make by studying, mediating and applying all of his holy words which are the Tanakh [Old Testament] and Apostolic [New Testament] scriptures.  (Matthew 4:4; 2 Peter 3:15-16; 2 Timothy 3:15-17 KJV).

“In conclusion, brothers, focus your thoughts on what is true (Psalm 119:142; Matthew 4:4 – The Word of Elohim is Truth – emphasis mine), noble, righteous, pure, lovable or admirable, on some virtue or on something praiseworthy.”  (Philippians 4:8 CJB)

“Blessed is the man who shall not walk in the counsel of the wrong, And shall not stand in the path of sinners, And shall not sit in the seat of scoffers, But his delight is in the Torah of יהוה, And he meditates in His Torah day and night.  For he shall be as a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That yields its fruit in its season, And whose leaf does not wither, And whatever he does prospers.  The wrong are not so, But are like the chaff which the wind blows away.  Therefore the wrong shall not rise in the judgment, Nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.  For יהוה knows the way of the righteous, But the way of the wrong comes to naught.”  (Psalm 1:1-6 The Scriptures)

“He has made everything suited to its time; also, he has given human beings an awareness of eternity; but in such a way that they can’t fully comprehend, from beginning to end, the things God does.  I know that there is nothing better for them to do than to be happy and enjoy themselves as long as they live.  Still, the fact that everyone can eat and drink and enjoy the good that results from all his work, is a gift of God.”  (Ecclesiastes 3:11-13 CJB)


If we lack the ability to be successful, then we need to ask Elohim for wisdom (James 1:5 KJV).

“The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.”  (Proverbs 9:10 KJV)

“The fear of the LORD is the instruction of wisdom; and before honour is humility.” (Proverbs 15:33 KJV)

“How much better is it to get wisdom than gold! and to get understanding rather to be chosen than silver!”  (Proverbs 16:16 KJV)

“Through wisdom is an house builded; and by understanding it is established:  And by knowledge shall the chambers be filled with all precious and pleasant riches.  A wise man is strong; yea, a man of knowledge increaseth strength.”  (Proverbs 24:3-5 KJV)

  • A human being can be rich in a righteous way.  We have the examples of Abraham, Job and Joseph that proves you can be rich and righteous.  However, the history of humanity tells us this is rare.  Yet, it is possible if you learn how to put Elohim first in your life.  Plus, you should not desire to be rich unless you have a desire to help people with your wealth (1 Timothy 6:17-19 KJV).  We must be careful that our main focus in life is not about “getting rich & making lots of money to get whatever I want.” (1 Timothy 6:9-10 KJV)  Remember, it is easier for a camel to go through an eye of a needle, then for a rich man to enter the Kingdom of Elohim (Matthew 19:23-24 KJV).


Elohim desires for us to succeed in everything we do if it is not against His Torah.

“Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity.  For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb.  Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.  Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.  Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.  And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday.  Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.  Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil.  For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth.  For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be.
But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.”   (Psalm 37:1-11 KJV)

Work and Jobs

According to a Gallop survey, 70% of employees in the United States do not like their jobs.  This is sad.  This indicates there is a lack of proper career planning for a significant number of people.  Elohim desires for you to like your occupation.  He desires for you to grow in your profession; to successfully manage your affairs and prosper.  He desires for you to have the ability to give to those who are in need.

“The thief must stop stealing; instead, he should make an honest living by his own efforts. This way he will be able to share with those in need.”  (Ephesians 4:28 CJB)

“Beloved ones, I pray for you to do well in every way, and be in health, as your life is doing well.”  (3 John 1:2 The Scriptures)

  • The key to producing enough monies to take care of your needs, and to help others with their needs, is to choose a career you like; get the education necessary to produce a livable income.  Livable income is consistent monies that will pay your living expenses, enable you to pay off any bills and give you the ability to help people in need; save for emergency situations (losing a job, medical issues, or a “time and chance” event – Ecclesiastes 9:11-12 KJV).  Plus, you should try to do all you can to get out of debt (Romans 13:8 KJV).  It is very important to make every effort you can to stay out of debt, and to live within your means.


The good news is you do not have to go to school in the traditional way to obtain a quality education in the 21st century.  You can take courses at home.  The following resources have helped me in my life and I hope they help you locate a profession you like if you do not like your current job or profession.  I have included a resource that can help you manage your finances should you need personal financial counseling.  Click on the topic for more information.


Every human being can be successful if they learn how to obey the Torah of Elohim and put Him first.  The Word of God commands us to get the wisdom and knowledge we need to be successful-to provide for those who are in need.  Elohim has provided man with knowledge of various professions.  If we have access to the resources, then we each have the responsibility to choose the profession best suited for our personality, skills, abilities and cost of living environment.  For those who do not have the resources to better themselves, pray to Elohim to provide you what you need and He will (James 1:5 KJV).

Keep asking, and it will be given to you; keep seeking, and you will find; keep knocking, and the door will be opened to you.  For everyone who keeps asking receives; he who keeps seeking finds; and to him who keeps knocking, the door will be opened.”  (Matthew 7:7-8 CJB)

Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.”  (Ecclesiastes 9:10 KJV)

I have strength to do all, through Messiah who empowers me.”  (Philippians 4:13 The Scriptures)

  • As you try to financially better yourself, you may need to temporarily take a job you do not like until you are able to get the education you need to locate your desired job or, if you already have the required education, obtain your desired occupation.  You should make every effort you can to leave the temporary job you do not like without causing yourself or your family unnecessary financial hardship.   The key is to always work towards improving your careerDo not ever assume your current job will always be available to you.
  • A job or work environment can be so bad you may have to resign from your job because of health concerns, moral issues (for example:  company trains you to lie related to a specific task or duty; employer tries to prevent you from keeping the Shabbat and Holy Days of Elohim listed in Leviticus 23), employer brakes the original employment contract, and for various situations out of your control.  If you quit your job for good cause and you have worked long enough, you can get unemployment benefits until you are able to locate suitable employment.  Please refer to your local Unemployment Insurance Office for more information on good causes for quitting your job and the required length of employment to qualify for unemployment benefits.  I have had to quit jobs in the past for worship, moral and health reasons.  However, Elohim provided me with better opportunities (Matthew 6:25-34 KJV).
  • Do the best you can to avoid “dead end” jobs.  I understand what it feels like to work at a “dead end” job.  A “dead end” job is an occupation with no growth opportunities.

I was forced out of my family’s house at age 20 without the ability to financially support myself because of my desire to keep Shabbat.  I have had 41 jobs in my life and a significant amount of the 41 jobs I had were “dead end” sales jobs with unrealistic expectations.  Additionally, I had several direct marketing consulting projects I completed as a direct marketing consultant (I operate a part-time direct marketing consultant home-based business in addition to ministry).  While I worked, I tried the best I could to keep my skills sharp and to constantly educate myself.  I continue to regularly educate myself to this day.

We should steadily study the Bible and we should repeatedly study to improve our existing skills or develop new skills.   Several years ago I took the Campbell Interest and Skills survey and I am following the suggested vocational interests.  Some of those interests are Religious Activities, Office Practices, Domestic Arts/Home Economics which involves family communication and parental education.

Seek First the Kingdom of God

Kennard, a servant of Elohim and the Righteous King of Israel-Yeshua (John 1:49; Luke 19:38-39 KJV)


  • Do you put Elohim first in your life?
  • Is He the first thing you think of in the morning?
  • Do you pray to Him when you wake up?
  • Do you Bible study in the evenings and in the mornings?
  • Do you Bible study to improve your behavior toward Elohim and mankind (2 Timothy 3:16-17; Proverbs 6:23 CJB)?
  • Are you concerned about the poor and do you understand their needs? (Proverbs 29:7; Job  30:25 CJB)
  • Do you seek to help the poor and those who have needs? (Job 29:12-16; Job 31:16-22 CJB)


Elohim told Joshua the following:

“Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest.   This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.  Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.”  (Joshua 1:7-8 KJV)

The first chapter of Psalms reveals:

“Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.  But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.  And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.” (Psalms 1:1-3 KJV)


The Kingdom of God is a Royalty Realm (Strong’s Concordance of the Bible).  A realm is a community or territory of rulership.


  • bas-il-i’-ah (translated “Kingdom” in the New Testament or Apostolic Scriptures)  From G935; properly royalty, that is, (abstractly) rule, or (concretely) a realm (literally or figuratively): – kingdom, + reign.  (Strong’s Concordance of the Bible)


This Royalty Realm includes the entire universe.  In the future, Yeshua and the saints will take over the kingdoms of this world and righteously rule over them.

“And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.”  (Dan 7:27 KJV)

“And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.”  (Revelation 11:15 KJV)

“And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.”  (Revelation 20:4 KJV)

“The Spirit himself bears witness with our own spirits that we are children of God; and if we are children, then we are also heirs, heirs of God and joint-heirs with the Messiah — provided we are suffering with him in order also to be glorified with him.   I don’t think the sufferings we are going through now are even worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed to us in the future.  The creation waits eagerly for the sons of God to be revealed;  for the creation was made subject to frustration — not willingly, but because of the one who subjected it. But it was given a reliable hope that it too would be set free from its bondage to decay and would enjoy the freedom accompanying the glory that God’s children will have.  We know that until now, the whole creation has been groaning as with the pains of childbirth;  and not only it, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we continue waiting eagerly to be made sons — that is, to have our whole bodies redeemed and set free.”  (Romans 8:16-23 KJV)


The Lord instructs me to speak His words and His words are life changing and they are powerful.

“If a prophet has a dream, let him tell it as a dream. But someone who has my word should speak my word faithfully. What do chaff and wheat have in common?” asks Adonai.   “Isn’t my word like fire,” asks Adonai, “like a hammer shattering rocks?”  (Jeremiah 23:28-29 CJB)

“See, the Word of God is alive! It is at work and is sharper than any double-edged sword — it cuts right through to where soul meets spirit and joints meet marrow, and it is quick to judge the inner reflections and attitudes of the heart.” (Hebrews 4:12 CJB)

Elohim is also an Elohim of judgment.  He will judge us for every good and evil deed we do.

“Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.  For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.” (Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 KJV)

“And the LORD smelled a sweet savour; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man’s sake; for the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done.”  (Genesis 8:21 KJV)

“True, I was born guilty, was a sinner from the moment my mother conceived me.”  (Psalm 51:5 – Complete Jewish Bible – CJB)

“What is a human being, that he could be innocent, someone born from a woman, that he could be righteous?  God doesn’t trust even his holy ones; no, even the heavens are not innocent in his view.  How much less one loathesome and corrupt, a human being, who drinks iniquity like water.”  (Job 15:14-16 CJB)

“Doing wrong is firmly tied to the heart of a child, but the rod of discipline will drive it far away from him.” (Proverbs 22:15 CJB)

“From the womb, the wicked are estranged, liars on the wrong path since birth.”  (Psalm 58:3 CJB)

“The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?  I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.”  (Jeremiah 17:9-10 KJV)

“O LORD, my strength, and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit.   Shall a man make gods unto himself, and they are no gods?  Therefore, behold, I will this once cause them to know, I will cause them to know mine hand and my might; and they shall know that my name is The LORD.”  (Jeremiah 16:19-21 KJV)

“And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:  Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.”  (Acts 17:30-31 KJV)

Yeshua stated the following:

“Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.” (Mark 1:14-15 KJV)

Repent means to think differently-to change our way of thinking.  The scriptures reveal all of mankind since Adam & Eve are born incorrectly thinking.


How can you enter the Royalty Realm of Elohim?

Yeshua revealed we must be “born again” to enter the Kingdom of God.

“Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.  Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?  Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.  That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.  Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.  The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.”  (John 3:3-8 KJV)


     Born from water and the Spirit. Immersion in water is connected with ritual cleansing of the body (see above, 1:26–34, and Mt 3:1–17), while the Holy Spirit gives power for turning from sin and living a holy life; both bespeak aspects of purification. This is why “born from water” does not mean ordinary human birth.

“Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.”  (I Corinthians 15:50 KJV)

Human beings must change their way of thinking and be immersed in water (baptized) as a symbol of a commitment to obey the commandments of Elohim.  The believer receives the Holy Spirit to help him or her obey the commandments.

“A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.  And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.”  (Ezekiel 36:26-27 KJV)

“We are witnesses to these things; so is the Ruach HaKodesh (the Holy Spirit – emphasis mine), whom God has given to those who obey him.”  (Acts 5:32 CJB)

We must continue to obey God by keeping His commandments if we expect to continue to receive the power to help us obey the commandments.  It is possible to quench the Holy Spirit.

“Quench not the Spirit.”  (1 Thessalonias 5:19 KJV)

Every human being must repent and keep the commandments to the best of their ability and knowledge.  Those who do the best they can to keep the commandments will be changed into immortal spirit beings starting with the Firstfruits group of saints (Revelation 20:4-6 KJV).

“That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.  For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.  For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.  Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.  So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.  But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.  And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.  But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.  Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.  For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.  For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.  For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.  The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:  And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.”  (Romans 8:4-17 KJV)

“For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.  But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming.”  (1 Corinthians 15:22-23 KJV)

“Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.  For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.  So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.”  (1 Corninthians 15:51-54 KJV)


“There were present at that season some that told him of the Galilaeans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices.  And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things?  I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.   Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem?  I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.”  (Luke 13:1-5 KJV)

“At that moment the talmidim came to Yeshua and asked, “Who is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven?”  He called a child to him, stood him among them, and said, “Yes! I tell you that unless you change and become like little children, you won’t even enter the Kingdom of Heaven!  So the greatest in the Kingdom is whoever makes himself as humble as this child.”  (Matthew 18:1-4 CJB)

“Already the axe is at the root of the trees, ready to strike; every tree that doesn’t produce good fruit will be chopped down and thrown in the fire!  It’s true that I am immersing you in water so that you might turn from sin to God; but the one coming after me is more powerful than I — I’m not worthy even to carry his sandals — and he will immerse you in the Ruach HaKodesh and in fire.  He has with him his winnowing fork; and he will clear out his threshing floor, gathering his wheat into the barn but burning up the straw with unquenchable fire!”  (Matthew 3:10-13 CJB)

  • Any human being who does not choose to repent after being given the knowledge, and the help to permanently repent through the power of the Holy Spirit, will unfortunately perish:


Therefore, you, human being, say to the house of Isra’el: ‘You say, “Our crimes and sins are weighing us down, we’re pining away because of them, how can we even stay alive?” ‘ Say to them, ‘As I live,’ swears Adonai Elohim, ‘I take no pleasure in having the wicked person die, but in having the wicked person turn from his way and live. So repent! Turn from your evil ways! For why should you die, house of Isra’el?’  “Next, you, human being, say to your people: ‘The righteousness of the righteous person will not save him, once he starts committing crimes; and likewise, the wickedness of the wicked person will not cause him to fall, once he turns from his wickedness. No, the righteous person cannot live by virtue of [his former righteousness], once he starts sinning.  So if, after I tell the righteous person that he will surely live, he begins trusting in his own [former] righteousness and starts committing crimes; then none of his [former] righteous actions will be remembered; on the contrary, he will die for the evil deeds he has committed.  Likewise, if, after I tell the wicked person, “You must die,” he turns from his sin and does what is lawful and right —  if the wicked person restores pledged property and returns what he stole, so that he lives by the laws that give life and does not commit evil deeds; then he will live, he will not die.   None of the sins he committed will be remembered against him; he has done what is lawful and right; he will surely live.’  “Now your people say, ‘Adonai’s way isn’t fair!’ But it is their way, theirs, that isn’t fair! When the righteous person turns away from his righteousness and commits wickedness, he will die because of it.  And when the wicked person turns from his wickedness and does what is lawful and right, he will live because of it.  Yet you say, ‘Adonai’s way isn’t fair!’ House of Isra’el, I will judge each of you according to his ways.”  (Ezekiel 33:10-20 CJB)


“Therefore, Yochanan said to the crowds who came out to be immersed by him, “You snakes! Who warned you to escape the coming punishment?  If you have really turned from your sins, produce fruit that will prove it! And don’t start saying to yourselves, ‘Avraham is our father’! For I tell you that God can raise up for Avraham sons from these stones!  Already the axe is at the root of the trees, ready to strike; every tree that doesn’t produce good fruit will be chopped down and thrown in the fire!”  The crowds asked Yochanan, “So then, what should we do?”  He answered, “Whoever has two coats should share with somebody who has none, and whoever has food should do the same.”  Tax-collectors also came to be immersed; and they asked him, “Rabbi, what should we do?”   “Collect no more than the government assesses,” he told them.   Some soldiers asked him, “What about us? What should we do?” To them he said, “Don’t intimidate anyone, don’t accuse people falsely, and be satisfied with your pay.”  (Luke 3:7-14 CJB)

“He who believes in the Son possesses everlasting life, but he who does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of Elohim remains on him.”  (John 3:36 The Scriptures)

“Don’t be surprised at this; because the time is coming when all who are in the grave will hear his voice and come out — those who have done good to a resurrection of life, and those who have done evil to a resurrection of judgment.”  (John 5:28-29 CJB)

“And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.”  (Daniel 12:2 KJV)

“For it is justice for God to pay back trouble to those who are troubling you, and to give rest along with us to you who are being troubled, when the Lord Yeshua is revealed from heaven with his mighty angels in a fiery flame. Then he will punish those who don’t know God, that is, those who don’t listen to the Good News of our Lord Yeshua and obey it.  They will suffer the just penalty of eternal destruction, far away from the face of the Lord and the glory of his might.  On that Day, when he comes to be glorified by his holy people and admired by all who have trusted, you will be among them, because you trusted our witness to you.”  (2 Thessalonians 1:6-10 CJB)

“And let us keep paying attention to one another, in order to spur each other on to love and good deeds, not neglecting our own congregational meetings, as some have made a practice of doing, but, rather, encouraging each other. And let us do this all the more as you see the Day approaching.  For if we deliberately continue to sin after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but only the terrifying prospect of Judgment, of raging fire that will consume the enemiesSomeone who disregards the Torah of Moshe is put to death without mercy on the word of two or three witnesses.  Think how much worse will be the punishment deserved by someone who has trampled underfoot the Son of God; who has treated as something common the blood of the covenant which made him holy; and who has insulted the Spirit, giver of God’s grace!  For the One we know is the One who said, “Vengeance is my responsibility; I will repay,” and then said, “Adonai will judge his people.”  It is a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God!” (Hebrews 10:24-31 CJB)

“Do not fear those who kill the body but are powerless to kill the soul. Rather, fear him who can destroy both soul and body in Gei-Hinnom.”  (Matthew 10:28 CJB)

“For the Day of Adonai is near for all nations; as you did, it will be done to you; your dealings will come back on your own head.  For just as you have drunk on my holy mountain, so will all the nations drink in turn; yes, they will drink and gulp it down and be as if they had never existed.”  (Obadiah 1:15-16 CJB)

For the wicked will perish; Adonai’s enemies will be like sheep fat, ending up as smoke, finished.”  (Psalm 37:20 CJB)

“For look, the day shall come, burning like a furnace, and all the proud, and every wrongdoer shall be stubble. And the day that shall come shall burn them up,” said יהוה of hosts, “which leaves to them neither root nor branch.  “But to you who fear My Name the Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings. And you shall go out and leap for joy like calves from the stall.  “And you shall trample the wrongdoers, for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet on the day that I do this,” said יהוה of hosts.”  (Malachi 4:1-3 The Scriptures)

“Then Death and Sh’ol were hurled into the lake of fire. This is the second death — the lake of fire.  Anyone whose name was not found written in the Book of Life was hurled into the lake of fire.”  (Revelation 20:14-15 CJB)

“See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil;  In that I command thee this day to love the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the LORD thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it.  But if thine heart turn away, so that thou wilt not hear, but shalt be drawn away, and worship other gods, and serve them;  I denounce unto you this day, that ye shall surely perish, and that ye shall not prolong your days upon the land, whither thou passest over Jordan to go to possess it.  I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:  That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.”  (Deuteronomy 30:15-20 KJV)

The good news is if you choose to obey Yah, then you will live.  The bad news is if you choose not to obey Yah, then you will die.

  • The above scriptures reveal all human beings will have a fair chance and choice to obey or disobey Elohim.  Those who obey will live and those who do not obey will die-they will not see the Royalty Realm of Elohim or see life because they will be dead.


Elohim has great mercy.  However He gives mercy to those who show mercy to others.

“For judgment will be without mercy toward one who doesn’t show mercy; but mercy wins out over judgment.”  (James 2:13 CJB)

What is mercy?

  • eleos  (el’-eh-os)  Of uncertain affinity; compassion (human or divine, especially active): – (+ tender) mercy.  (Strong’s Concordance of the Bible)


Mercy is having compassion.  According to Merriam-Webster Dictionary, compassion is a “sympathetic consciousness of the other’s distress together with a desire to alleviate it.”

Elohim desires for mankind to learn how to care about other people’s problems, and desire to help eliminate them.

“Therefore, your majesty, please take my advice: break with your sins by replacing them with acts of charity, and break with your crimes by showing mercy to the poor; this may extend the time of your prosperity.”  (Daniel 4:7 CJB)

Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.  He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.  Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.  In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.  For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.  Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother’s righteous.  Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you.  We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.  Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.  Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.  But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?  My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.”   (1 John 3:7-18 KJV)

  • Please realize according to the above scripture, a murderer is also any human being who does not care about other human beings.  This is very significant for us to understand.  Remember, Yeshua commanded us to love our enemies (Matthew 5:44 KJV).


These facts should motivate you to obey Elohim and seeking the Royalty Realm of Elohim should be on the top of your priority list.

As Moses stated:  “All the people experienced the thunder, the lightning, the sound of the shofar, and the mountain smoking. When the people saw it, they trembled. Standing at a distance, they said to Moshe, “You, speak with us; and we will listen. But don’t let God speak with us, or we will die.”  Moshe answered the people, “Don’t be afraid, because God has come only to test you and make you fear him, so that you won’t commit sins.”  (Exodus 20:18-20 CJB)

  • When you were a young child, you initially obeyed your parents because you were punished if you did not.  Well, Elohim is our ultimate parent and, when we repent and receive His Holy Spirit, we need to learn how to fear and respect His authority.  This contributes toward motivating us to obey Him.  However, eventually we should grow to obey Him because we love Him and realize obeying his instructions is only for our benefit just like a child should realize his parents’ instructions are for his or her benefit (Hebrews 12:5-11 KJV).
  • Obeying Elohim will give us the ability to understand the Words of Elohim.


“Repent when I reprove — I will pour out my spirit to you, I will make my words known to you.”  (Proverbs 1:23 CJB)


“Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth . . .  And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”  (Matthew 22:13; 25:30 KJV)

“And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.  And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.”  (Matthew 13:42, 50 KJV)

“Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.  Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities.  Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.  But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.  Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.  These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;  Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.  And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,  To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.”‘ (Jude 1:7-15 KJV)

  • Notice the phrase “trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots.”  John the Baptist stated a human being (a tree) must bear fruit (righteous behavior) to survive (Luke 3:9).  The second death (twice dead) involves being thrown in the lake of fire.  If you die twice (the second death), then you will no longer live again-you will have no root (Revelation 20:6, 14-15 KJV).
  • Outer darkness, weeping and gnashing with teeth is associated with the lake of fire-eternal death.  People will be weeping and gnashing their teeth because they do not want to die.  They are sorry for their sins.  Yet, they do not want to change.
  • In the New Heaven and New Earth there will be no more darkness or night (Revelation 22:5; Isaiah 60:19-20 KJV).


“Your hand will find all your enemies; your right hand will overtake those who hate you.  At your appearing, you will make them like a fiery furnace. Adonai will swallow them up in his anger; fire will consume them.  You will destroy from the earth their descendants, rid humankind of their posterity; for they intended evil against you; but despite their scheme, they won’t succeed.”  (Psalm 21:8-11 KJV)

“He distributes freely, he gives to the poor; his righteousness stands forever. His power will be increased honorably.  The wicked will be angry when they see this; they will gnash their teeth and waste away, the desires of the wicked will come to nothing.”  (Psalm 112:9-10 CJB)


“Now I rejoice not because you were pained, but because the pain led you to turn back to God. For you handled the pain in God’s way, so that you were not harmed by us at all.  Pain handled in God’s way produces a turning from sin to God which leads to salvation, and there is nothing to regret in that! But pain handled in the world’s way produces only death.” (2 Corninthians 7:9-10 CJB)


10      Two ways of handling pain (or: “sorrow” or “sadness”). Ungodly sorrow, merely being sad or experiencing pain, has no virtue in it. It is concerned with self, not with God or with others who have been harmed; and it leads to self-hatred, self-pity, depression, despair and death. Godly sorrow, on the other hand, leads to repentance, t’shuvah, turning from sin to God, making restitution for wrongs, and resolving to act righteously. God is not interested in one’s merely feeling sorry for having sinned, but in one’s resolute turning from that sin and not doing it again when similarly tempted.

“And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:  Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.  So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.”  (Genesis 3:22-24 KJV)

“Those who have ears, let them hear what the Spirit is saying to the Messianic communities. To him winning the victory I will give the right to eat from the Tree of Life which is in God’s Gan-`Eden.” (Revelation 2:7 CJB)

“How blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they have the right to eat from the Tree of Life and go through the gates into the city!”  (Revelation 22:14 CJB)

The Tree of Life and entrance to the New Jerusalem (the holy city) is available to anyone who repents.

“The Spirit and the Bride say, ‘Come!’ Let anyone who hears say, ‘Come!’ And let anyone who is thirsty come — let anyone who wishes, take the water of life free of charge.”  I warn everyone hearing the words of the prophecy in this book that if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues written in this book.  And if anyone takes anything away from the words in the book of this prophecy, God will take away his share in the Tree of Life and the holy city, as described in this book.”  (Revelation 22:17-19 CJB)

  • Notice the Spirit and the Bride (all who are part of the 1st resurrection [the Firstfruits] – Revelation 20:4-6) is telling anyone and everyone to come.  A person comes to Elohim by repenting and doing the best they can to keep the commandments of Elohim.  A life of righteous change will result in entering the Royalty Realm of Elohim, eating the Tree of Life and entering the New Jerusalem.


“And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.  He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.” (Revelation 21:6-7 KJV)

“And there is a place where someone has given this solemn testimony: “What is mere man, that you concern yourself with him? or the son of man, that you watch over him with such care?  You made him a little lower than the angels, you crowned him with glory and honor, you put everything in subjection under his feet.” In subjecting everything to him, he left nothing unsubjected to him. However, at present, we don’t see everything subjected to him — at least, not yet.”  (Hebrews 2:6-8 CJB)

If anyone overcomes their sins with the help of the Holy Sprirt, you will inherit all things.  All things means the entire universe!  The universe certainly includes the Tree of Life and the New Jerusalem.  Remember, Elohim is not partial (1 Timothy 5:21 KJV).

  • The eating of the tree of life’s fruit is only for human beings who have repented and have been changed into spirit beings.


Yeshua proved a resurrected man with a spiritual body eats food (Luke 24:39-43 KJV).

Based on the Genesis 3:22-24, the Tree of Life is a source of immortality.  Every human being’s goal should be to obtain immortality.

“For he will pay back each one according to his deeds.  To those who seek glory, honor and immortality by perseverance in doing good, he will pay back eternal life.”  (Romans 2:6-7 CJB)

“That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:  Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;  Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen.”  (1 Timothy 6:14-16 KJV)

“Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began, But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel.”  (2 Timothy 1:9-10 KJV)

“For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.  So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.”  (1 Corninthians 15:53-54 KJV)

The Lord’s brother Jude used the book of Enoch in the context of the Royalty Realm of Elohim.  I will follow Jude’s example.

“And amongst them was a tree such as I had never yet smelt, neither was any amongst them nor were others like it: it had a fragrance beyond all fragrance, and its leaves and blooms and wood wither not for ever: and its fruit «is beautiful, and its fruit» resembles the dates of a palm.  Then I said: ‘‹How› beautiful is this tree, and fragrant, and its leaves are fair, and its blooms «very» delightful in appearance.’  Then answered Michael, one of the holy «and honoured» angels who was with me, and was their leader . . .  And he said unto me: ‘Enoch, why dost thou ask me regarding the fragrance of the tree, and ‹why› dost thou wish to learn the truth?’ Then I answered him «saying»: ‘I wish to know about everything, but especially about this tree.’  And he answered saying: ‘This high mountain «which thou hast seen», whose summit is like the throne of God, is His throne, where the Holy Great One, the Lord of Glory, the Eternal King, will sit, when He shall come down to visit the earth with goodness.  And as for this fragrant tree no mortal is permitted to touch it till the great judgement, when He shall take vengeance on all and bring (everything) to its consummation for ever.  It shall then be given to the righteous and holy. Its fruit shall be for food to the elect: it shall be transplanted to the holy place, to the temple of the Lord, the Eternal King.”  (1 Enoch 24:4-6; 25:1-5)

  • The above Enoch writing indicates this tree is the Tree of Life because it is only for the elect, righteous and holy; a mortal is not allowed to touch it until after the great judgement period (Revelation 20).
  • The great judgement period involves bringing everything to consummation.  A consummation is the ultimate end of something.  The ultimate end of Elohim’s plan for mankind is the elimination of death, sin and pain (1 Corinthians 15:22-28; Revelation 21:1-4 KJV).


“On both riverbanks will grow all kinds of trees for food; their leaves will not dry up, nor will their fruit fail. There will be a different kind of fruit each month, because the water flows from the sanctuary, so that this fruit will be edible, and the leaves will have healing properties.” (Ezekiel 47:12 CJB)

  • Notice the above scripture (Ezekiel 47:12 CJB) is talking about trees.  It is not referring to the Tree of Life.  These trees will be edible by the mortal humans at this time in history and the leaves of the tree will be used for healing.  During the 1,000 year rule of the saints and the great white throne judgement sin, death and pain will still exist.  Therefore, there will be a need for physical healing during this time (Revelation 20 KJV).


“But be glad and rejoice forever in what I create; for look, I create Yerushalayim a rejoicing, and her people a joy.  And I shall rejoice in Yerushalayim, and shall joy in My people, and let the voice of weeping no more be heard in her, nor the voice of crying.  No more is an infant from there going to live but a few days, nor an old man who does not complete his days, for the youth dies one hundred years old, but the sinner being one hundred years old shall be lightly esteemed.  And they shall build houses and inhabit them, and plant vineyards and eat their fruit.  They shall not build and another inhabit; they shall not plant and another eat. For the days of My people are going to be as the days of a tree, and My chosen ones outlive the work of their hands.  They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth children for trouble. For they are the seed of the blessed of יהוה, and their offspring with them.  And it shall be that before they call, I answer. And while they are still speaking, I hear.  Wolf and lamb feed together, a lion eats straw as an ox, and dust is the snake’s food. They shall do no evil, nor destroy in all My set-apart mountain,” said יהוה.”  (Isaiah 65:18-25 The Scriptures)

  • The above scripture describes the 1,000 year period and the great white throne judgment period described in Revelation 20.  The process of creating a New Heaven and New Earth begins when the saints start to rule the world  This process will end with the ultimate destruction of death, sin and pain (1 Corinthians 15:22-28 KJV).


“Next the angel showed me the river of the water of life, sparkling like crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb.  Between the main street and the river was the Tree of Life producing twelve kinds of fruit, a different kind every month; and the leaves of the tree were for healing the nations — no longer will there be any curses. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will worship him;  they will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads.” (Revelation 22:1-4 CJB)

  • The Tree of Life and its leaves will be available to all of spiritual bodied mankind in the New Heaven and New Earth.  The word “were” was added by the KJV translators.  In the original Greek, the word “were” is not there.  The phrase should read:  “the leaves of the tree for healing of the nations.”  Spiritual bodies are incorruptible and there is no need for physical healing (1 Corinthians 15:53 KJV).  The tree of life’s leaves provides spiritual healing not physical healing for beings with a spiritual body.  Spiritual healing is not like physical healing.  Human beings who are born with a spiritual body do not sin (1 John 3:9).  Obviously, spiritual healing is not a result of sin or corruption.  The Tree of Life, as a source of immortality, provides spiritual nourishment for beings with a spiritual body.



“And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass.  And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.  And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.  And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.  And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.   And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it.  And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.”  (Revelation 21:21-27 KJV)

  • Notice in the above scripture the nations are saved.  They are immortal and they bring their glory to the New Jerusalem.  They are allowed to enter the city because they are immortal.
  • The Lamb’s book of life is not a second book of life.  Everything the Father has is also the Son’s (John 16:15 KJV).  This includes the book of life.


“Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.  Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?  Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.”  (John 3:3-5 KJV)

“Whoever trusts and is immersed will be saved; whoever does not trust will be condemned.”  (Mark 16:16 CJB)

For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.”  (1 John 5:4 KJV)

“He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.”   (Revelation 2:7 KJV)

“He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.”  (Revelation 2:11 KJV)

He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.”   (Revelation 3:5 KJV)

“Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.”  (1 Corinthians 15:50 KJV)

“I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.”  (John 10:9 KJV)

“And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.  He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.”  (Revelation 21:6-7 KJV)

  • Based on the above scriptures, a human being must go through the process of repenting, being immersed and receiving the Holy Spirit.  This process will result in being changed to a spirit being if the human being righteously repents and learns to obey the commandments of Elohim.  All immortals are allowed to see and inherit the Royalty Realm of Elohim (the universe); to enter the New Jerusalem.
  • The Water of Life flows from Elohim’s throne and the Tree of Life is near the Water of Life (Revelation 22:1-2 KJV).
  • The Water of Life and the Tree of Life is located inside the city-the New Jerusalem.  To eat the fruit from the Tree of Life, you have to be inside the city (Revelation 22:1-3, 14 KJV).



According to the powerful Word of God, there will be no more death after the wicked are thrown in the lake of fire.  This means there will be no more murderers existing in the New Heavens and New Earth because murderers cause death.

“And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.  And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.  And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.  And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.  And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.  And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.  He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.  But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.”  (Revelation 21:1-8 KJV)

Ultimately, to enter life and have immortality we must obey the commandments and if we don’t we will not have access to the Tree of Life (immortality), the Royalty Realm and the New Jerusalem.

“LORD, I have hoped for thy salvation, and done thy commandments.”  (Psalm 119:166 KJV)

“And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.  I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.  Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.   For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.”  (Revelation 22:12-15 KJV)

Obviously, those without immortality (having the right to the tree of life) cannot enter the gates of the city because they are dead (Revelation 21:8).

No murderers will have eternal life.

  • “Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life in him.”  (1 John 3:15 CJB)
  • Since no murders have eternal life, the murderers mentioned in Revelation 22:15 are already dead.  Of course, all of the rest of the sinners mentioned in Revelation 22:15 are without immortality and are dead.


“Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.” (Galatians 5:19-21 KJV)

Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.”  (1 Corinthians 6:9-10 KJV)

“For without” in Revelation 22:15 does not mean sinners are allowed to be immortal living outside the New Jerusalem.

  • ex’-o (translated “without) Adverb from G1537; out (side, of doors), literally or figuratively: – away, forth, (with-) out (of, -ward), strange. (Strong’s Concordance of the Bible)


Notice “without or away” can be interpreted literately or figuratively.  Based on the fact that Elohim said there would be no more death, curse, pain and sorrow (Revelation 21:4, 22:3 KJV) in the New Heaven and New Earth, we must understand “without” in a figurative way.

To eat from the Tree of Life and go through the gates into the city is to enjoy eternal life in fellowship with God.   Outside, in the lake of fire (20:12b, 21:8, 21:27), are unrepentant sinners . . .

22:15 “Outside are” This is very difficult to interpret unless it is a metaphor for the lake of fire (cf. 21:8).

“‘the dogs” This is another strange allusion because there should be no evil people left at this point in the book. In Deut. 23:18 this term refers to male prostitutes of the Canaanite fertility cult. In other parts of the Old and New Testaments it refers to wicked people (cf. Ps. 22:16, 20; Matt. 7:6; and Phil. 3:2). Let me quote Robert H. Mounce at this point from his commentary on Revelation in the New International Series: “The verse does not intend to teach that in the eternal state all manner of wicked men will be living just outside the heavenly city. It simply describes the future with the imagery of the present. The contrast is between the blessedness of the faithful and the fate of the wicked” (p. 394).

There will be no more curse in the New Heaven and the New Earth.  This means sin will no longer exist because sinning causes curses (Revelation 22:3; Deuteronomy 28:15-68 KJV).


Yeshua stated the following about seeking the Royal Realm of Yah:

“Therefore, I tell you, don’t worry about your life — what you will eat or drink; or about your body — what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds flying about! They neither plant nor harvest, nor do they gather food into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you worth more than they are?
Can any of you by worrying add a single hour to his life?  “And why be anxious about clothing? Think about the fields of wild irises, and how they grow. They neither work nor spin thread, yet I tell you that not even Shlomo in all his glory was clothed as beautifully as one of these.  If this is how God clothes grass in the field — which is here today and gone tomorrow, thrown in an oven — won’t he much more clothe you? What little trust you have!   “So don’t be anxious, asking, ‘What will we eat?,’ ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘How will we be clothed?’   For it is the pagans who set their hearts on all these things. Your heavenly Father knows you need them all.   But seek first his Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.  Don’t worry about tomorrow — tomorrow will worry about itself! Today has enough tsuris (troubles – emphasis mine)  already!”  (Matthew 6:25-34 CJB)

The above scriptures reveal the following:

  • Our lives are more important than food and our body is more important than clothes.
  • We are not to worry about and set our minds to focus too much on food, drink and clothes.
  • We must live by every word of Elohim in addition to eating food and drink (Matthew 4:4).
  • If we seek the Royal Realm of Yah first and His righteousness (keeping the commandments – Psalm 119:172), then he will provide us food, drink and clothes when we need them.
  • Notice Yah did not promise cars, expensive clothes and luxuries.
  • When we serve other people, we are serving Elohim (Matthew 25:31-49 CJB).


So if you were raised along with the Messiah, then seek the things above, where the Messiah is sitting at the right hand of God.  Focus your minds on the things above, not on things here on earth.  For you have died, and your life is hidden with the Messiah in God.  When the Messiah, who is our life, appears, then you too will appear with him in glory!”  (Colossians 3:1-4 CJB)

Whenever I have put Yah first, He has always provided me with the necessities in mysterious ways.  He will do this for anyone that puts Him first in their lives.

  • I was forced out of my family’s home at age 20 because of keeping the Shabbat (Sabbath).  I did not have any means to support myself.  However, I have never lacked food, clothes and shelter; I have never been in danger of dying because of a lack of food, clothes and shelter.  He has always consistently provided clothes, shelter and food for me.  Again, He will do the same for you if you just trust Him.


“Then Peter began to say unto him, Lo, we have left all, and have followed thee.  And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel’s,  But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.”  (Mark 10:28-30 KJV)

“There came then his brethren and his mother, and, standing without, sent unto him, calling him.  And the multitude sat about him, and they said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren without seek for thee.  And he answered them, saying, Who is my mother, or my brethren?  And he looked round about on them which sat about him, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren!  For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother.  (Mark 3:31-35 KJV)

“And it came to pass, as he spake these things, a certain woman of the company lifted up her voice, and said unto him, Blessed is the womb that bare thee, and the paps which thou hast sucked.  But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.”  (Luke 11:27-28 KJV)


  • I have been keeping Yah’s commandments for a long time (over 28 years).  I have met and associated with other people, who keep Yah’s commandments.  I have lived on different lands and in different homes during my journey to enter the Royalty Realm of Yah.


“For we live by trust, not by what we see.” (2 Corinthians 5:7 CJB)

“Trusting is being confident of what we hope for, convinced about things we do not see.” (Hebrews 11:1 CJB)

“It was in this hope that we were saved. But if we see what we hope for, it isn’t hope — after all, who hopes for what he already sees?  But if we continue hoping for something we don’t see, then we still wait eagerly for it, with perseverance.” (Romans 8:24-25 CJB)

“While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.”  (2 Corinthians 4:18 CJB)

But the person who is righteous will live his life by trusting, and if he shrinks back, I will not be pleased with him.” (Hebrews 10:38 CJB)

“Regard it all as joy, my brothers, when you face various kinds of temptations; for you know that the testing of your trust produces perseverance.  But let perseverance do its complete work; so that you may be complete and whole, lacking in nothing.  Now if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives to all generously and without reproach; and it will be given to him.  But let him ask in trust, doubting nothing; for the doubter is like a wave in the sea being tossed and driven by the wind.  Indeed that person should not think that he will receive anything from the Lord.”  (James 1:2-7 CJB)

We have to trust Elohim will provide what we need without seeing.  Ultimately, putting Yah first and obeying Yah’s commandments provides great benefits.

Ultimately, the Royalty Realm of Elohim will contain no wickedness or corruption.  Everything will be perfect and filled with righteousness.

“Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.”  (2 Peter 3:13 KJV)

When we seek the Royalty Realm of Elohim, we are seeking perfection or completion.  The New Heaven and New Earth is the completion of Elohim’s plan to reverse the destructive and negative effects the sin of Adam caused.   Adam’s sin caused the universe to become corrupt and in a state of decay (Romans 5:12; 8:19-23 CJB).  We are seeking to live our lives putting Elohim first by studying His word on a daily basis and putting those words to action by caring about other human beings.  This is what life is all about (Ecclesiastes 12:13 CJB).

“You have heard that our fathers were told, ‘Love your neighbor — and hate your enemy.’  But I tell you, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you!  Then you will become children of your Father in heaven. For he makes his sun shine on good and bad people alike, and he sends rain to the righteous and the unrighteous alike.  What reward do you get if you love only those who love you? Why, even tax-collectors do that!  And if you are friendly only to your friends, are you doing anything out of the ordinary? Even the Goyim do that!  Therefore, be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.”  (Matthew 5:44-48 CJB)

“Woe to you hypocritical Torah-teachers and P’rushim! You pay your tithes of mint, dill and cumin; but you have neglected the weightier matters of the Torah — justice, mercy, trust. These are the things you should have attended to — without neglecting the others!  (Matthew 23:23 CJB)

“He has declared to you, O man, what is good. And what does יהוה require of you but to do right, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your Elohim?”  (Micah 6:8 The Scriptures)

God Desires a Family

Kennard, a servant of Elohim the Father and Yeshua the Son.

Moses, under the inspiration of Almighty Elohim wrote the following:

“And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.   So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.”  (Genesis 1:26-27 KJV)

And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:  Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.”   (Genesis 3:22-23 KJV)

Notice God identified Himself as “us” instead of “myself” or “me.”

Why did God describe Himself as “us” and “our” which is plural (more than one)?

The word for “God” in English Bibles is translated from the Hebrew word “Elohim.”

It is pronounced:  \ˌe-lō-ˈhēm, e-ˈlō-ˌhim\

According to Brown-Driver-Briggs Hebrew Definitions the word “Elohim” means:

1) (plural)
1a) rulers, judges
1b) divine ones
1c) angels
1d) gods
2) (plural intensive – singular meaning)
2a) god, goddess
2b) godlike one
2c) works or special possessions of God
2d) the (true) God
2e) God

According to the Complete WordStudy Dictionary Lexicon “Elohim” means:


’elōhiym: A masculine plural noun meaning God, gods, judges, angels. Occurring more than 2,600 times in the Old Testament, this word commonly designates the one true God (Gen_1:1) and is often paired with God’s unique name yehōwāh (H3068) (Gen_2:4; Psa_100:3). When the word is used as the generic designation of God, it conveys in Scripture that God is the Creator (Gen_5:1); the King (Psa_47:7 [8]); the Judge (Psa_50:6); the Lord (Psa_86:12); and the Savior (Hos_13:4). His character is compassionate (Deu_4:31); gracious (Psa_116:5); and faithful to His covenant (Deu_7:9). Based on the above information, you should understand Elohim is plural and can mean:

  • God
  • gods
  • angels
  • rulers, judges
  • divine ones
  • one (true) God

 Elohim is One

It is true Elohim is one Elohim.  However, how is Elohim one?

“Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD.” (Deuteronomy 6:4 KJV)


’eḥāḏ (echad): A numerical adjective meaning one, first, once, the same. It may mean simply one of various things: e.g., place (Gen 1:9); soul, or person (Lev4:27); a person from among many (Gen 3:22; Gen 42:19; 1Sa 26:15). It has the idea of unity or integrity as when it designates one justice for all (Num 15:16) or actual physical unity (Exo 36:12). The Lord is one (Deu 6:4). It expresses agreement or unity among persons (Exo 24:3) or physical unity (Zep 3:9). It may serve as an indefinite article, one man (1Sa 1:1), or to indicate the first of something, e.g., the first day of the month (Gen 8:5). The word is pluralized to mean several, few, or a while (Gen 11:1; Gen 27:44). (The Complete WordStudy Dictionary)

The word echad means a “unity” or “composite unity.”  Scriptures where the word “echad” is used:

  • ‘Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.”  (Genesis 2:24 KJV)
  • “And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.”  (Genesis 11:6 KJV)
  • “Then all the children of Israel went out, and the congregation was gathered together as one man, from Dan even to Beersheba, with the land of Gilead, unto the LORD in Mizpeh.”  (Judges 20:1 KJV)

Echad also means there is no other Elohim but the Elohim of the Bible.

A marriage and a group of people should be unified.  Likewise, Elohim is unified as one.

Yeshua stated the following about Elohim being one:

“I and my Father are one.  Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him. Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?  The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.  Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?  If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken; Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?” (John 10:30-36 KJV)

“Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.  Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works’ sake.”  (John 14:9-11 KJV)

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.  And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.”  (John 14:12-13 KJV)

“And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.    That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.  And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are oneI in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.”  (John 17:21-23 KJV)

The Father and Yeshua are one in unity.  However, they are two separate beings. (Revelation 5:1-8; Daniel 7:13-14; I Corinthians 8:6). Additionally, Elohim desires for His followers to be one in unity just like the Father and the Son.

Let’s carefully analyze  the following scriptures located in Revelation chapters 4 & 5 to prove the Yah the Father and the Messiah are two separate beings.

“And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne. And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald.” (Revelation 4:2-3 KJV)

The “one sat on the throne” is the Yah the Father proved by the following scripture:

And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals. And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof? And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon. And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon. And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof. And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.” (Revelation 5:1-7 KJV)

The one who took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne is the Messiah.

And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints. And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth. And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands; Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing. And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever. And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever.” (Revelation 5:8-14 KJV)

Notice the blessing, honor, glory and power is to Yah the Father and the Messiah.

The Messiah sits at the right hand of the Father.

יהוה said to my Master, “Sit at My right hand, Until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet.” (Psalm 110:1 The Scriptures)

“Then indeed, after the Master had spoken to them, He was received up into the heaven, and sat down at the right hand of Elohim.” (Mark 16:19 The Scriptures)

who, having gone into heaven, is at the right hand of Elohim, messengers and authorities and powers having been subjected to Him.” (1 Peter 3:22 The Scriptures)

“But he, being filled with the Set-apart Spirit, looked steadily into the heaven and saw the esteem of Elohim, and יהושע standing at the right hand of Elohim, and he said, “Look! I see the heavens opened and the Son of Aḏam standing at the right hand of Elohim!”  (Acts 7:55-56 The Scriptures)

“To him who overcomes I shall give to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.” (Revelation 3:21 The Scriptures)

“And he showed me a river of water of life, clear as crystal, coming from the throne of Elohim and of the Lamb.” (Revelations 22:1)

All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.” (John 16:15 KJV)

“Yeshua came and talked with them. He said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.” (Matthew 28:18 CJB)

“Indeed, all I have is yours, and all you have is mine, and in them I have been glorified.” (John 17:10 CJB)

The above scriptures prove Yah the Father and the Messiah are two separate beings and share their possessions. Yeshua prayed that His assembly learn how to share their possessions with each other and be united like the Father and Himself (John 17:20-23; Acts 4:32).

Yeshua is the image of God the Father (Colossians 1:13-16).  He looks like God the Father-just like any human son looks similar to his human father.  Messiah stated the following about God the Father:

“And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.”  (John 17:3 KJV)

“Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.”  (John 14:28 KJV)

“Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.”  (John 20:17 KJV)

” . . . that the Elohim of our Master יהושע Messiah, the Father of esteem, would give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him” (Ephesians 1:17 The Scriptures)

“As the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father, so whoever feeds on me, he also will live because of me.”  (John 6:57 KJV)

I am able to do nothing from Myself [independently, of My own accord–but only as I am taught by God and as I get His orders]. Even as I hear, I judge [I decide as I am bidden to decide. As the voice comes to Me, so I give a decision], and My judgment is right (just, righteous), because I do not seek or consult My own will [I have no desire to do what is pleasing to Myself, My own aim, My own purpose] but only the will and pleasure of the Father Who sent Me.” (John 5:30 AMP)

“If anyone hears My teachings and fails to observe them [does not keep them, but disregards them], it is not I who judges him. For I have not come to judge and to condemn and to pass sentence and to inflict penalty on the world, but to save the world. Anyone who rejects Me and persistently sets Me at naught, refusing to accept My teachings, has his judge [however]; for the [very] message that I have spoken will itself judge and convict him at the last day. This is because I have never spoken on My own authority or of My own accord or as self-appointed, but the Father Who sent Me has Himself given Me orders [concerning] what to say and what to tell. [Deut. 18:18, 19.] And I know that His commandment is (means) eternal life. So whatever I speak, I am saying [exactly] what My Father has told Me to say and in accordance with His instructions.” (John 12:47-50 AMP)

The book of Hebrews reveals the following:

“But of the Son he (the Father – emphasis mine) says, “Your throne, O God, is forever and ever, the scepter of uprightness is the scepter of your kingdom. You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness beyond your companions.  And, “You, Lord, laid the foundation of the earth in the beginning, and the heavens are the work of your hands.” (Hebrews 1:8-10 KJV)

The above scripture is quoted from on Psalm 45:

“Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom is a right sceptre. Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.” (Psalm 45:6-7 KJV)

“For, let this mind be in you which was also in Messiah יהושע,  who, being in the form of Elohim, did not regard equality (being similar that God is His Father – John 5:18) with Elohim a matter to be grasped, but emptied Himself, taking the form of a servant, and came to be in the likeness of men. And having been found in fashion as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient unto death, death even of a stake. Elohim, therefore, has highly exalted Him and given Him the Name which is above every name, that at the Name of יהושע every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and every tongue should confess that יהושע Messiah is Master, to the esteem of Elohim the Father. ” (Phillipians 2:5-11 The Scriptures)

“God, after He spoke long ago to the fathers in the prophets in many portions and in many ways, in these last days has spoken to us in His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the world. And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power. When He had made purification of sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, having become as much better than the angels, as He has inherited a more excellent name than they.” (Hebrews 1:1-3 NASB)

“Even the Father judges no one, for He has given all judgment (the last judgment and the whole business of judging) entirely into the hands of the Son, So that all men may give honor (reverence, homage) to the Son just as they give honor to the Father. [In fact] whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father, Who has sent Him.” (John 5:22-23 AMP)

The above scriptures reveal:

  • Yeshua is the image of God.
  • God the Father is greater than Yeshua.
  • God the Father is Yeshua’s God.
  • Yeshua lives because of God the Father.
  • God the Father calls His Son God.
  • We should honor Yeshua as we honor the Elohim the Father
  • Every knee should  bow before Yeshua the Messiah to the esteem of Elohim the Father.


The Messiah is second in command.  He has a God He obeys.  And, that God is the Father.  Remember, Elohim is plural and can describe a composite unity based on other scriptures that the Hebrew word echad is used.  Echad also means there is no other Elohim but the Elohim of the Bible.  Yeshua is the Word of God and is Elohim because He is a part of Elohim-His Word.  Yeshua is THE Word of Elohim (Revelation 19:13; John 1:1-3, 14). However, He is not Elohim the Father.  He is Elohim the Son.

“For even if there are so-called gods whether in heaven or on earth, as indeed there are many gods and many lords, yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom are all things and we exist for Him; and one Lord, Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we exist through Him.” (1 Corinthians 8:5-6 KJV)

The Great Potential of Mankind

“For as by a man came death, by a man has come also the resurrection of the dead.  For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive.  But each in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, then at his coming those who belong to Christ.  Then comes the end, when he delivers the kingdom to God the Father after destroying every rule and every authority and power.  For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet.  The last enemy to be destroyed is death.  For “God has put all things in subjection under his feet.” But when it says, “all things are put in subjection,” it is plain that he is excepted who put all things in subjection under him.  When all things are subjected to him, then the Son himself will also be subjected to him who put all things in subjection under him, that God may be all in all.”  (1 Corinthians 15:21-28 KJV)

Elohim desires to dwell in all of mankind.

“Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and there is no longer any sea.  And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband.  And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is among men, and He will dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be among them, and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away.”  And He who sits on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” And He said, “Write, for these words are faithful and true.”

“Then He said to me, “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give to the one who thirsts from the spring of the water of life without cost.  “He who overcomes will inherit these things, and I will be his God and he will be My son.” (Revelation 21:1-7 KJV)

The ultimate plan of Elohim for mankind is to produce many sons of Elohim through the Messiah who is the 1st Son of God.  Yeshua is the only resurrected human who has immortality.

“That you keep the commandment without stain or reproach until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ, which He will bring about at the proper time–He who is the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords, who alone possesses immortality and dwells in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see. To Him be honor and eternal dominion! Amen.” (1 Timothy 6:14-16 KJV)

“It has been testified somewhere, “What is man, that you are mindful of him, or the son of man, that you care for him?  You made him for a little while lower than the angels; you have crowned him with glory and honor, putting everything in subjection under his feet.” Now in putting everything in subjection to him, he left nothing outside his control.  At present, we do not yet see everything in subjection to him.  But we see him who for a little while was made lower than the angels, namely Jesus, crowned with glory and honor because of the suffering of death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone.  For it was fitting that he, for whom and by whom all things exist, in bringing many sons to glory, should make the founder of their salvation perfect through suffering.”  (Hebrews 2:6-10 KJV)

“He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” (John 1:11-13 KJV)

“For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.”  (Romans 8:29 KJV)

“But we are citizens of heaven, and it is from there that we expect a Deliverer, the Lord Yeshua the Messiah.  He will change the bodies we have in this humble state and make them like his glorious body, using the power which enables him to bring everything under his control.” (Philippians 3:20-21 CJB)

“So also is the resurrection of the dead.  It is sown a perishable body, it is raised an imperishable body; it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power; it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body.  If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body.  So also it is written, “The first MAN, Adam, BECAME A LIVING SOUL.”  The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.  However, the spiritual is not first, but the natural; then the spiritual.  The first man is from the earth, earthy; the second man is from heaven.  As is the earthy, so also are those who are earthy; and as is the heavenly, so also are those who are heavenly.  Just as we have borne the image of the earthy, we will also bear the image of the heavenlyNow I say this, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable.  Behold, I tell you a mystery; we will not all sleep, but we will all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.  For this perishable must put on the imperishable, and this mortal must put on immortality.  But when this perishable will have put on the imperishable, and this mortal will have put on immortality, then will come about the saying that is written, “DEATH IS SWALLOWED UP in victory.  “O DEATH, WHERE IS YOUR VICTORY? O  DEATH, WHERE IS YOUR STING?” (1 Corinthians 15:42-55 NASB)

“For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.” (Matthew 22:30 KJV)

“And Jesus answering said unto them, The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage: But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage:  Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.”  (Luke 20:34-36 KJV)

Angels are also called sons of God (Job 1:6; 38:7 KJV).

“Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters? Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?”    (1 Corinthians 6:2-3 KJV)

And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:  And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.” (Revelation 2:26-27 KJV)

To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.”     (Revelation 3:21 KJV)

Some Christians and Believers have been taught God the Father and Yeshua (Jesus) Messiah is one person. God the Father and Yeshua Messiah are two separate beings with the title of Elohim.  Yeshua is Elohim because He is the Word of Elohim and God Himself considers Him Elohim (Psalm 45;6-7; John 1:1-3, 14).

Additionally, Yeshua is the Word of God and is Elohim because He is a part of Elohim-His Word. Yeshua is THE Word of Elohim (Revelation 19:13; John 1:1-3, 14). They have a plan to create an extended family by helping human beings reach their full potential:  sons of God.

What is PURE Religion or Worship?

Kennard, a servant of God the Father and the Son of God . . .

Yeshua’s brother James, under the inspiration of Elohim, stated the following:

“External religious worship [religion as it is expressed in outward acts] that is pure and unblemished in the sight of God the Father is this: to visit and help and care for the orphans and widows in their affliction and need, and to keep oneself unspotted and uncontaminated from the world.”  (James 1:27 AMP)

The word “religion” in the Greek means ceremonial observance and worship.

Pure worship is:

  1. Taking care of the unfortunate and needy.  This includes widows, the fatherless and other people who are suffering.
  2. Preventing the deception and wickedness of this evil world (Galatians 1:4; Revelation 12:9) from contaminating your mind & body.  The lust of the eyes & flesh and the pride of life is not of the Father (1 John 2:16).

What is LOVE according to the Bible?

Kennard, a servant of the Eternal Elohim and the Righteous Yeshua Messiah . . .

The Bible gives a definition of love:

“Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.” (Romans 13:10)

“Fulfilling” in the Greek means to complete or to perform.  So, love is completing or performing the law.  The law the scripture is referring to is the law and teachings of God-the Torah.

“And what this love consists in is this: that we live and walk in accordance with and guided by His commandments (His orders, ordinances, precepts, teaching). This is the commandment, as you have heard from the beginning, that you continue to walk in love [guided by it and following it].”  (2 John 1:6 Amplified Bible – AMP)

Please understand love involves correction:

“Those whom I [dearly and tenderly] love, I tell their faults and convict and convince and reprove and chasten [I discipline and instruct them]. So be enthusiastic and in earnest and burning with zeal and repent [changing your mind and attitude]. [Prov. 3:12.]” (Revelation 3:19 AMP)

The correction can be painful.

“And have you [completely] forgotten the divine word of appeal and encouragement in which you are reasoned with and addressed as sons? My son, do not think lightly or scorn to submit to the correction and discipline of the Lord, nor lose courage and give up and faint when you are reproved or corrected by Him; For the Lord corrects and disciplines everyone whom He loves, and He punishes, even scourges, every son whom He accepts and welcomes to His heart and cherishes.  You must submit to and endure [correction] for discipline; God is dealing with you as with sons. For what son is there whom his father does not [thus] train and correct and discipline?  Now if you are exempt from correction and left without discipline in which all [of God’s children] share, then you are illegitimate offspring and not true sons [at all]. [Prov. 3:11, 12.]  Moreover, we have had earthly fathers who disciplined us and we yielded [to them] and respected [them for training us]. Shall we not much more cheerfully submit to the Father of spirits and so [truly] live?  For [our earthly fathers] disciplined us for only a short period of time and chastised us as seemed proper and good to them; but He disciplines us for our certain good, that we may become sharers in His own holiness.  For the time being no discipline brings joy, but seems grievous and painful; but afterwards it yields a peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it [a harvest of fruit which consists in righteousness–in conformity to God’s will in purpose, thought, and action, resulting in right living and right standing with God].” (Hebrews 12:5-11 AMP)

Correction is good for us because it helps us become better human beings (Proverbs 6:23).

“Let the righteous man smite and correct me–it is a kindness. Oil so choice let not my head refuse or discourage; for even in their evils or calamities shall my prayer continue. [Prov. 9:8; 19:25; 25:12; Gal. 6:1.]” (Psalm 141:5 AMP)

Did Yeshua (Jesus) observe Hanukkah (John 10:22-23)?

First of all-What is Hanukkah?

“Chanukkah, the Feast of Dedication, in which Jews since 164 B.C.E. have celebrated the victory of the Makkabim over Antiochus IV, king of Syria. This is the earliest mention of the holiday in all literature and the only mention of it in the Bible, since the Tanakh was completed before that date (the book of Daniel contains prophecy about the event celebrated). The apocryphal books, 1, 2, 3, and 4 Maccabees, present historical and other perspectives on what happened.

“Antiochus, recently defeated in Egypt, expressed his frustration by attacking Judea, ruthlessly slaughtering men, women and children, and invading the Temple. There he carried off the golden altar, menorahs and vessels; and to show his contempt for the God of Israel he sacrificed there a pig to Zeus. He forbade circumcision, observing Shabbat and keeping kosher, and commanded that only pigs be sacrificed in the Temple; he himself cooked a pig in the Temple and poured its broth on the holy Torah scrolls and on the altar.

“Syrian officers were dispatched to enforce these cruel and blasphemous decrees. One day when the Syrian officer in Modi‛in commanded Mattityahu HaMakkabi (Mattathias the Maccabee or Hammer), head of a family of cohanim, to sacrifice a pig, he and his five sons killed the first Jew to comply (see Ac 6:1N) and then killed the officer and his soldiers. This was the start of a rebellion. After Mattityahu’s death his son Y’hudah (Judas Maccabeus, about whom Handel wrote his oratorio so named) assembled a number of courageous Jews and led them to victory over the Syrians, first in guerilla warfare, then later in open battle. On the 25th of Kislev they rededicated the Temple and consecrated a new altar . . . ”

Yeshua was in the area of a Chanukkah celebration based on the following scripture:

“It was winter, and the time came for the Festival of Dedication (Chanukkah – emphasis mine) at Jerusalem.  Jesus was in the Temple area at Solomon’s Porch.” (John 10:22-23 ESV)

The following is a description of how Jews celebrated Hanukkah in the 1st century:

“It was not of Biblical origin, but had been instituted by Judas Maccabæus in 164 B.C., when the Temple, which had been desecrated by Antiochus Epiphanes, was once more purified, and re-dedicated to the Service of Jehovah.c Accordingly, it was designated as ‘the Dedication of the Altar.’  Josephuse calls it ‘The Lights,’ from one of the principal observances at the Feast, though he speaks in hesitating language of the origin of the festival as connected with this observance—probably because, while he knew, he was ashamed to avow, and yet afraid to deny his belief in the Jewish legend connected with it. The Jews called it Chanukkah, ‘dedication’ or ‘consecration,’ and, in much the same sense, Enkainia in the Greek of the LXX., and in the New Testament.

During the eight days of the Feast the series of Psalms known as the Hallel was chanted in the Temple, the people responding as at the Feast of Tabernacles.  Other rites resembled those of the latter Feast. Thus, originally, the people appeared with palm-branches. This, however, does not seem to have been afterwards observed, while another rite, not mentioned in the Book of Maccabees—that of illuminating the Temple and private houses—became characteristic of the Feast.

“Thus, the two festivals, which indeed are put in juxtaposition in 2 Macc. 10:6, seem to have been both externally and internally connected. The Feast of the ‘Dedication,’ or of ‘Lights,’ derived from that of Tabernacles its duration of eight days, the chanting of the Hallel, and the practice of carrying palm-branches. On the other hand, the rite of the Temple-illumination may have passed from the Feast of the ‘Dedication’ into the observances of that of ‘Tabernacles.’

“Tradition had it, that, when the Temple-Services were restored by Judas Maccabæus, the oil was found to have been desecrated. Only one flagon was discovered of that which was pure, sealed with the very signet of the High-Priest. The supply proved just sufficient to feed for one day the Sacred Candlestick, but by a miracle the flagon was continually replenished during eight days, till a fresh supply could be brought from Thekoah. In memory of this, it was ordered the following year, that the Temple be illuminated for eight days on the anniversary of its ‘Dedication.’

“The Schools of Hillel and Shammai differed in regard to this, as on most other observances. The former would have begun the first night with the smallest number of lights, and increased it every night till on the eighth it was eight times as large as on the first. The School of Shammai, on the other hand, would have begun with the largest number, and diminished, till on the last night it amounted to an eighth of the first. Each party had its own—not very satisfactory—reasons for its distinctive practice, and its own adherents.

“But the ‘Lights’ in honour of the Feast were lit not only in the Temple, but in every home. One would have sufficed for the whole household on the first evening, but pious householders lit a light for every inmate of the home, so that, if ten burned on the first, there would be eighty on the last night of the Festival. According to the Talmud, the light might be placed at the entrance to the house or room, or, according to circumstances, in the window, or even on the table.

“According to modern practice the light is placed at the left on entering a room (the Mezuzah is on the right). Certain benedictions are spoken on lighting these lights, all work is stayed, and the festive time spent in merriment. The first night is specially kept in memory of Judith, who is supposed then to have slain Holofernes, and cheese is freely partaken of as the food of which, according to legend, she gave him so largely, to incite him to thirst and drunkenness. Lastly, during this Festival, all fasting and public mourning were prohibited, though some minor acts of private mourning were allowed.

“More interesting, perhaps, than this description of the outward observances is the meaning of this Festival and its connection with the Feast of Tabernacles, to both of which reference has already been made. Like the Feast of Tabernacles, it commemorated a Divine Victory, which again gave to Israel their good land, after they had once more undergone sorrows like those of the wilderness; it was another harvest-feast, and pointed forward to yet another ingathering.”

The festivities were similar to the Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot). The Temple is a very significant part of the celebration of Hanukkah and Yeshua was in the temple (John 10:22-23).

The Hebrew equivalent for the word “dedication” in John 10:22 is chanukkah (Ha•nuk•kah).

“Chanukkah” is translated “dedication” and/or “dedicating” in Numbers 7:10-11; 7:84, 88; 2 Chronicles 7:9; Nehemiah 12:27; Psalm 30:1.

Ultimately, the minor Jewish holiday of chanukkah pictures the rededication of the altar during the days of Judas Maccabaeus. The real miracle was the victory of the Maccabaeus over Antiochus IV Epiphanes. It is good to at least acknowledge the historical importance of this day every year and its prophectic significance in these end times (Matthew 24:15; Daniel 11:31).

Repent. Change Your Mind. The Kingdom of Elohim (God) IS coming!

The purpose of this website is to preach the TRUE Jewish Gospel of the Kingdom of Elohim (God) to those who are seekers of the TRUTH.

The devil has deceived or tricked this whole world (Revelation 12:9).  Our fathers (ancestors) have inherited lies (Jeremiah 16:19-21).  The nations are “drunk” with this trickery (Revelation 17:1-2).

Currently, the whole world is suffering because the majority of mankind do not consistently obey the laws of God:

“Behold, the LORD will empty the earth and make it desolate, and he will twist its surface and scatter its inhabitants. And it shall be, as with the people, so with the priest; as with the slave, so with his master; as with the maid, so with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as with the lender, so with the borrower; as with the creditor, so with the debtor.  The earth shall be utterly empty and utterly plundered; for the LORD has spoken this word.”

“The earth mourns and withers; the world languishes and withers; the highest people of the earth languish.  The earth lies defiled under its inhabitants; for they have transgressed the laws, violated the statutes, broken the everlasting covenant.  Therefore a curse devours the earth, and its inhabitants suffer for their guilt; therefore the inhabitants of the earth are scorched, and few men are left.”  (Isaiah 24:1-6 ESV)

I was born at Mt. Sinai hospital in Chicago, IL. I was named Kennard Levi Brown. I was born in the same month that Moses was born. I have Sephardic Jewish ancestry in my DNA. I remember when I was very discouraged and did not understand why people told me there was peace when many people were starving and dying around the world every day. Elohim started to open my mind to his truth at the age of 16 or 17 years old. I did not desire to live if He did not reveal Himself to me and give me the ability to understand the Bible. Well, Elohim has revealed Himself to me and has given me the ability to understand the Bible. The way Elohim has revealed Himself to me is through the inspired and holy words of the Bible; Jewish commentaries & writings, people who understand the TRUE message of the Bible; life experiences.

  • I have studied the Bible for 30+ years.
  • I have not celebrated Christmas, Easter, Valentine’s day, Halloween and any other Pagan or non-Biblical holiday for 30+ years and counting.
  • I studied with Jews for 1 year to understand why they do not believe or understand why Yeshua is the Messiah.
  • Elohim has blessed me with an extensive library of Biblical & Jewish resources to effectively teach those who are seekers of Biblical truth.

” . . . Everyone to whom much was given, of him much will be required, and from him to whom they entrusted much, they will demand the more.” (Luke 12:48 NASB).

This is what God says to end time “ministers” or “priests” in the 21st century:

“And now, O priests, this command is for you.  If you will not listen, if you will not take it to heart to give honor to my name, says the LORD of hosts, then I will send the curse upon you and I will curse your blessings. Indeed, I have already cursed them, because you do not lay it to heart.  Behold, I will rebuke your offspring, and spread dung on your faces, the dung of your offerings, and you shall be taken away with it.”

So shall you know that I have sent this command to you, that my covenant with Levi may stand, says the LORD of hosts.  My covenant with him was one of life and peace, and I gave them to him. It was a covenant of fear, and he feared me. He stood in awe of my name. True instruction was in his mouth, and no wrong was found on his lips. He walked with me in peace and uprightness, and he turned many from iniquity.  For the lips of a priest should guard knowledge, and people should seek instruction from his mouth, for he is the messenger of the LORD of hosts.  But you have turned aside from the way. You have caused many to stumble by your instruction. You have corrupted the covenant of Levi, says the LORD of hosts.”  (Malachi 2:1-8 ESV)

I am one of Elohim’s & Yeshua’s Torah (doctrines and teachings of God) teachers. I am a scribe. Yah (God) has given me the ability to understand the Torah (Law & Doctrines) of Moses which is the Law of God (1 Kings 2:1-3).

Yeshua stated He would send scribes to preach and write about the Torah (teachings, laws & doctrines) of Elohim:

“Therefore I am sending you prophets and sages and Torah-teachers (“scribes” in the KJV – emphasis mine) — some of them you will kill, indeed, you will have them executed on stakes as criminals; some you will flog in your synagogues and pursue from town to town.”  (Matthew 23:34 CJB)

“Therefore also said the wisdom of God (Yeshua – 1 Corinthians 1:24 – emphasis mine), I will send them prophets and apostles, and some of them they shall slay and persecute:  That the blood of all the prophets, which was shed from the foundation of the world, may be required of this generation;  From the blood of Abel unto the blood of Zacharias, which perished between the altar and the temple: verily I say unto you, It shall be required of this generation.”  (Luke 11:49-51 KJV)

What is a scribe?

“The participle form of the word sōp̱ēr, means scribe and occurs about fifty times in the Old Testament. Scribes such as Ezra studied, practiced, and taught the Law (Ezra 7:11). Scribes also served kings, writing and sometimes carrying messages to and from court (2 Kings 18:18; 2Kings 19:2; Esther 3:12; Esther 8:9). In 2Kings 22:10, a scribe read the recovered scroll of the Law to King Josiah, bringing about a personal revival. Scribes, as people who could read and count, also acted militarily, gathering the troops (2Kings 25:19; Jeremiah 52:25). The occupation of scribe could belong to a family (1 Chronicles 2:55).  Also, some Levites occupied the position as part of their job (2 Chronicles 34:13).  (The Complete WordStudy Dictionary)

“This Ezra went up from Babylon; and he was a ready scribe in the law of Moses, which the LORD God of Israel had given: and the king granted him all his request, according to the hand of the LORD his God upon him . . .  For Ezra had prepared his heart to seek the law of the LORD, and to do it, and to teach in Israel statutes and judgments.”  (Ezra 7:6, 10 KJV)

“And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;  For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:  Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:  That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;  But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ.” (Ephesians 4:11-15 KJV)

I am a scribe and a Torah teacher.  A Torah teacher studies, instructs and writes about the Torah of Moses which is the Torah of Elohim.  Elohim has given me Biblical knowledge and writing ability to teach those who desire to know the Truth.  And, what is the TRUTH?  The TRUTH is the following:

  • Jesus Christ (Yeshua Messiah) – (John 14:6)
  • The Bible – (John 17:17)
  • The Doctrines & Teachings of Elohim (Psalm 119:142)

The TRUTH will set you free from curses (John 8:32).  The TRUTH will set you free from problems that occur because of the disobedience of Elohim’s commandments (Romans 6).

Soon, the Messiah will come and bring peace to the entire world.  He will land his feet on the Mount of Olives which is located near the Temple Mount in Jerusalem (Zechariah 14). There will be only one God and everyone will learn that we must collectively obey all the commandments for peace to exist on the earth (Isaiah 2:1-4; Isaiah 11; Psalm 119:165-166).
